â talk that.
krystal â luna.
past.
âokay, okay, letâs see if you can predict my future with your skills,â a certain girl exclaimed, a small twitch of her lips present. krystal wasnât one to hang out with people, but on rare occasions, it wasnât too bad, even if it was once in a blue moon. trust was rarely found with her anyways, thus, relationships were incredibly hard to build. if one party was interested in befriending her, maybe sheâd try to accept the interest, yet to return it was fairly rare. unless the said person had caught her eye, the chances of her making the first move was indeed tiny. some people, however, were worth a try. though they might think they would face the real jung, but what they saw was only a glimpse of the iceberg she was. scars hid beneath her, memories and past personalities were hidden deep down â only the privileged ones would get the opportunity to dig. this girl, with her long auburn strands, was on the way to become someone. the times theyâd spend together, was always brilliant. the stories theyâd share were priceless, and the laughs theyâd elicit could deafen an already deaf man. if luna continued to play her cards like she was right now, soon enough, krystal would promote her to a spot within her heart. âtell me, do you see me dating any hot men, or anything?â she joked, a glimpse of excitement in her orbs.Â
luna was a bit of a loner herself. not necessarily on purpose, since she found that good company always muffled the constant paranoia she found herself in, but more simply just because she was a drug dealer. while it's true she talked to countless people in a day, no one wanted to really be associated with her kind. on the contrary, most people wanted something from her. they wanted to pay up, get the goods, and disappear until they had another fist full of cash to blow.
that's why krystal had made such an impact on luna. already, she was one of the most trustworthy people in the young psychic's life, so much so that they were seated comfortably in luna's apartment, surrounded by her illegal plants without a worry in the world.
"it doesn't work like that, i've told you," the older girl grinned, telling the truth. between smoking hash constantly and not having all her mental screws, it wasn't uncommon for people to doubt she even had an ability. what's more, it was also typical for her to be asked for a reading, even if her visions were triggered only half the time, and she couldn't single out any one category or topic. "i can give you a reading, but they're almost never happy. what if i see your death?âÂ

He was not an errand dog and despised to be treated as such. As a man of high status, respect towards him was almost a necessity to society, despite his forced status as an escort. That was why, when called in an appointment and a request to pick up a stash of hempâor whatever the damned drug was called among lowlife thugs- the brunet found himself infuriated. Had it not been for the sizable amount of won promised to him after three hours of his night was sliced away to be spent within the hands of a vile scum, he would have not made the journey in the first place.
A black van navigated through the dingy exterior of a void zone slum, its headlights the brightest thing to touch the surface of the alleys as the vehicleâs motor cut the eerie silence enveloped within the poor area. Junho sat in the back, one leg crossed over another as he swayed with the vehicleâs movement against the uneven road. A face-mask, lowered, hung by his neck as gloves squeezed his hands tightly. The moment the vehicle reached a complete stop, the brunet climbed out of his seat and out the exit and exposed himself to the silent neighborhood. A scribbled address placed on ripped paper nestled within his fingers, the champion drifted to one of the idle homes as the vanâs driver kept a strict eye on him from afar. Reaching his destined location, Junho rapped his fists harshly against the aged door three times before his hands slithered back to the safety of his pockets.Â
He counted the seconds it took before the door opened and basked his features in a silver of yellow light, each second representing the time of his life wasted heeding to another individualâs wishes. As the door opened, expecting toxins to quickly fill his lungs, Junho pulled his face-mask up in order to preserve his breathable air.
âMarion, the champion.â He bellowed, his head held high in the wake of the usual pride equipped with him. Narrowing his eyes, the brunet peered at what little visuals he was granted of the dealer before him. To his surprise, he was able to make out doe-eyes and auburn hair, the femaleâs features not as sullen nor mattered as he expected. Giving a small, nearly silent cough to clear his throat, the man continued, âMy client, Gong Haejin, demands for his stash of marijuanaâ or whatever you heathens call it.â
A clothed, black hand shoved at the door, emphasizing for the barrier between them to be demolished. âWith that said, let me in.â His words were uncouth and held little to no respect for the stranger before him. She was a member of the low-life society, an individual worth a little wayâs less than the dirt beneath the soles of his shoes.
In the years Luna had spent living and trading illegally in the Void Zone, she'd run into quite a few demanding customers. The man in front of her, however, seemed to define his own category of this, standing outside her door as if he owned the world. The young drug dealer winced as the wood was pushed on, wanting to scream or cry, but doing neither as she racked her brain for the name.
Of course, the petite girl hadn't owned a television since she'd been dropped onto the island, and she had absolutely no idea why a tournament champion would ever be at her zone, let alone her doorstep. She did, however, recognize the name Haejin, so she found her only option in this scenario was to do as she was asked. Slowly, she reached a shaky, pale hand up to her chain lock, sliding it slowly and opening what she could before the man was already inside, looking as large as his ego inside the small studio apartment. Typically, Luna didn't allow customers in, but as this was a special circumstance -- and as she had no means to stop the man from doing exactly what he wanted -- she allowed it.
"Gong Haejin," She mumbled to herself, all but ignoring the other man as she scattered herself around, trying to find the hash she'd packed up for him the other day; while the psychic was anything but organized, she had a method to her madness. As she looked, Luna tried not to call attention to her plants, though that was nearly impossible, as they covered nearly two walls of the apartment, floor to ceiling on shelves and in little labelled pots. "Ah, here we are!" She finally said in an airy voice, picking up the small yellow box with her logo hand-written on the top.
Turning, she held out the box for the taller man, more than an arm's distance away for her own safety. "Just take it and go, he's already paid," Luna said quietly, not wanting Marion in her home any longer than he wanted to be there.

Sometimes, listening to Ravi talk was almost poetic. It very well may have been the hash, but his speech patterns and lingo began bending warmly around Lunaâs mind as he went on, and she felt her body relax into her booth. "I doubt I'd have to look for it," She said absentmindedly, as if to herself, thinking about how she would find out that Ravi was dead if this scenario actually played out. Really, she assumed the two were close enough that she'd envision it, though the young psychic had no idea if she'd really prefer it that way.
Not wanting to dwell on the subject, she shrugged and took another long hit, already feeling her body lift a bit higher. "I'd love to come by your new and improved do nothing van," Luna responded with a little smile of her own, mostly hidden behind the hand holding her joint. "Wow a toilet and a stove? You're like, almost living in society at this point. What's going to happen to all of those hippie customers once you take your first shower? Can I even be your friend if you own soap? You know, since I'm such a radical hobo and all." Typically, Luna didn't care much for banter, but her drinking buddy brought a lot out of her that she didn't normally have. She may even go as far as saying she felt much more present and alive with Ravi around, but that was much more flattery than an alcoholic tattoo artist deserved. However, at the very least, you learn to cherish the people you truly can trust while living in The Void.
Luna did her best to think back on all the times she'd tried cooking as a younger girl. It wasn't often, and admittedly, she'd stuck to the bare minimum once she'd landed herself onto the island, too. More than anything, she'd eat like a rabbit; an apple here, a vegetable here, she wasn't a high maintenance eater. So, as she often did, Luna just decided to ignore the question.
"Can your van still move? You should take it someplace. The beach, maybe," Luna went on, her words light and airy as she daydreamed momentarily about laying out somewhere beautiful. "You think you could get it to the Gold Zone? I've never been."

Luna knew the man was from Lotus just by touching the wall he stood outside of. The three, hard knocks that had come to her door just moments earlier sounded unbelievably ominous, and being clairvoyant, it wasn't often her instincts were wrong. Heart racing, the girl tried to buy herself time as she desperately looked for options.
"One moment, please!" She called, her shaky voice most likely giving her away immediately to the stranger. Why was she a target all of a sudden, even though she only played a minor part in Chrysanthemum? Panicked, she ran lightly across the ratty apartment to roughly pull open a drawer, picking a kitchen knife at random and tucking it into her waistband. Against an angry Lotus member, it wasn't much, but it was at least better than nothing. Luna didn't have many options besides an escape route through her window, but it was clearly visible to anyone at her front door, and the man would surely become more aggressive if he caught her.
Deciding it was most likely preferred to just opening the door, the psychic shoved the glass up, poured out a ladder, and started quickly climbing down, fully aware that if the man looked even the slightest bit to his left, he'd know exactly what she was up to. So, Luna made sure that she was sprinting as soon as her feet hit the ground, adrenaline pumping as she desperately tried to escape.
Backroom Deals || L&S
{ @phxlunaâ }
Sooyoung was always in the business of scoring a better deal. How else would she strike a higher profit than purchasing whatever recreational drugs her clients wished for at a lower price? Her cannabis, for example, it was good quality but the profits werenât enough to keep her satisfied. True, it was her most popular drug, but it was also the one that netted her the least amount of money. A new supplier would have to be obtained, sooner rather than later.
Which explained why she had been meeting with various suppliers, enjoying enough to get a sense of what she would be selling to her clients but not so much so that she would be incapable of her duties. It was one such meeting she had today, a testament to her desire for absolute control that she chose to have it during business hours. The girl though, really, young woman would work just as well if Sooyoung had so chosen, was rumored to have a higher quality of cannabis than others. For the Void Zone at least. At first she had dismissed the supplier simply for the fact that Void Zone merchandise was of no use to her if she wanted to stay on the good side of those in the Gold Zone. But when more than one rumor surfaced, she had requested a meeting.
It wouldnât do to not have the best, after all.Â
A glance at the clock made her eyebrows furrow together slightly. Late. Her tongue clicked against her teeth as she forced her face back into the smooth indifference it always held. Her eyes swept the crowds, as if that would bring the girl to her faster. Ah. There she was, just outside. A few movements of her fingers, gestures only her own girls knew and one of the hostesses went to confirm her identity. Her eyes swept through the crowd again, taking in the men who sought their pleasure in the anonymous workers of the SIlver Zone, and felt her distaste rise up once more.Â
Luna approached the club, anxious for more than one reasons. She didn't come to the Silver Zone often; even though it was significantly better than where she lived, as the Void Zone at least offered a bit more slack for those in an illegal businesses. So, the girl had been extremely cautious, pushing her sample into a slit made on the interior of her coat. She'd picked out some of her best strains, knowing this deal would be a significant increase in cash flow for her, which was the reason she was willing to travel for the meeting in the first place.
Standing stiffly outside the building, Luna waited patiently for someone to come check her identity -- standard for places a little more risque like this. She wasn't disappointed, a pretty girl soon coming to look her over and make sure she knew what she needed to know. Once satisfied, she was allowed in, and led to whom she assumed to be Sooyoung.
"Hello," She greeted simply, bowing politely to the business owner. There was a lot going on inside the club, from hostesses laughing loudly to men being led into back rooms. "I'm Luna, you wanted to meet," The psychic said simply, never one for over-the-top manners. The place wasn't exactly a five star hotel, but it wasn't anything near the dirty old bars in the Void Zone either, and the sight left Luna wondering just how much she'd be making from this deal.

Luna rolled her eyes endearingly as she listened to Ravi talk, reaching into her bag to pull out a small joint, accompanied by a little yellow lighter. She hadn't been planning on telling the man about her new job just yet, but she should have known better; the tattoo artist knew everything. "It's not like that," The girl responded, waving a hand obnoxiously through the air, as though it would swipe away the conversation.
Taking a moment, she put the paper to her mouth and lit it, sucking a long puff through her lungs before continuing. "I'm still mostly concerned with growing my plants, but I can't just ignore the fact that we were all lied to and taken from our families, either. Chrysanthemum is a peaceful, hippie-friendly rebellion, and my job as a messenger is barely that. I'm just a little extra help, spreading word through clients and whatnot when they ask me to. Not a big deal."
Even though her explanation was more defensive than anything, Luna had a wide smile on her face by the end. She knew Ravi was mostly teasing, and the hash already had her feeling lightheaded. "Oh yeah? Tell me then, Great Alcoholic Guru, what's the right way to go about this, hm? Sit around in your graffiti van and do nothing?"
As if excusing the idea, Luna rolled her eyes and waved her hand yet again, dismissing the suggestion that the man across from her would have any real answers. "I came because I wanted to see you. Like I said, it's been some time, I got worried you drove off the island. Plus, I wanted to do a little quality control myself," She responded, holding up her joint a bit with a little smile. "You know, I have to make sure I'm giving my clients what they pay for," To punctuate her claim, she took another long drag.

Lunaâs bare feet padded quietly over the fake wood of her apartment floor, almost silent as she ran her fingers over a leaf from one of her youngest plants with feather light touches. It was one of her few Indica strains, usually unpopular with most of her clients, as they tended to have a more calming effect, much different from the giggling euphoria caused by a Sativa.Â
Focusing to the best of her ability, the psychic compared the plantâs height to the marker sheâd placed the week prior, inspecting the growth rate in order to measure how much she can take without stunting it. Managing so many plants in such a meticulous manner could be tedious, but to Luna, it was second nature.Â
Completely engrossed in her work, the sharp, heavy knock on her front door nearly caused Luna to have a stroke, snapping her head around to look at the entryway with a terrified expression, as if she were expecting an assassin. Racking her brain, the dealer desperately tried to remember if sheâd been expecting someone that day.Â
Slowly, Luna approached, stepping toes first to avoid making a single sound until she reached the door, pressing her face up against it to see out of the peephole. Blinking, she took in the manâs face, thinking it seemed eerily familiar, but unable to place it.Â
âWho is it?â She called to the other side, paranoid. Luna pulled her door open, a few inches giving until it was stopped by a chain, leaving only enough room for half of Lunaâs face to be shown. âWhat are you here for?âÂ

Luna ducked through the dimly lit entrance quickly, the collar of her coat pulled high as the tension in her muscles eased the slightest bit when the door closed behind her. In the Void Zone, a dingy old bar was only just barely better than the streets at this time of night, but it was enough to at least give the young psychic a little relief. Like clockwork, she made her way first to the granite bar near the center of the restaurant, her cinnamon hair cascading over the counter as she looked for the bartender.Â
âJust one, please,â Luna requested when sheâd finally spotted him, trusting he knew her usual poison, although sheâd never even bothered to learn his name before. It wasnât a long wait, considering how empty the place seemed to be nearly every time she came, and she barely had enough time to slip her coat off before a drink was placed in front of her. Plucking the cold glass from its place on the counter, she offered the bartender the smallest smile before heading further back towards the booth.Â
Picking out Ravi was never difficult. His head of purple hair contrasted clearly with the deep reds and blacks of the musky bar, even if Luna always thought his presence itself was less demanding of attention. She slid easily into the booth across from him.Â
âItâs been some time,â She decided to point out instead of using a proper greeting, pleasantries and manners almost completely nonexistent in Lunaâs vocabulary. Her words were direct, but her tone was much softer, almost sounding as though she were praying to herself in mumbles. âHave you been preoccupied with anything?âÂ
