Introductions!

Ello everyone! I'm Pickett! or Pull-apart if you want to call me that

I am a biology major and of course 18 years old! I use They/Them and I do a lot of art!

I currently have 5 stories running with another being created. My main story in which I will post the most about is Centre Stage, which I will be posting the comic itself here too.

My other stories include Safehouse, The Tower, D.O.G.A.S and Venus's Decent which I will also frequently post about.

Venus's Decent is my dnd campaign thats set in a sci-fi world, and I really love the story of so once it's over I'm making it a full story, be warned for that yap session lol.

Since I'm going into college as a science major I am going to be extremely busy, don't worry if I don't reply to you just yet I promise I've seen it!

That being said, my asks are always open feel free to just chat to me or ask some art questions, I am always open for art and design trades so if you'd like to do one let me know!

I also do fandom art if you'd like to see a certain ship or oc x cannon I love doing that! the fandoms I am also in are: Hermitcraft, Pokemon, Deltarune, DND, Animal Hospital, and I used to be in the forsaken and Dandy's world fandoms but I'm still willing to do art of it :)

Final Boss (DM NEEDS HELP)

its my players final session tomorrow, they're getting ready to kill the giant overlord AI robot thing that has been poisoning their planets with AI and tech that kills anything with flesh.

it's based off of a spider, and the players have only a round platform to fight it on.

I need ability ideas for it, and also how much health it should have.

I'm a massive believer that piggy isn't a liked character/piggy x anyone isn't popular in the fandom solely because he's ugly to you guys which is INSANELY WEIRD if he doesn't fit somebody's expectations regarding whether you find someone attractive/good looking or not

Like I swear if he had an appearance that would confine to beauty standards he would be a much more liked character you guys just😭still have😭that mindset😭to like😭 a character😭based on😭their appearance😭

You know, an interesting tumblr transformation that's happened gradually, and which I've seen no one talk about: ask-culture has essentially dropped off to nothing.

By which I mean, asks used to be WAY more of the tumblr economy. They used to be more common to send, and receive, and see. They were integral to the collaborative, forum-like behavior of old tumblr communities, not even to speak on the HUGE number of ask-blogs that used to exist to only be interacted with in ask-form.

I'm not saying this in a vying-for-attention way but instead in an observational way: I used to get way way more asks in like 2015, even with a fraction of my follower count. I wonder if it's due to the homogenization of social media sites? There's a lot more of this divide between "content creator" and "consumer" instead of just a bunch of peer blogs who would talk to each other. "Asks" aren't really a thing on twitter, are they? And as I understand it, the closest thing to an "ask" on instagram or tiktok would be a creator screenshotting some comment and responding to it in a new reel or video or whatever those content mediums are. Are asks just too tumblr-specific? Is that aspect of the site culture dying out as more and more people converge to using all their social media sites in the same way?

it's probably from assholes making asks a minefield of trolling/harassment for years with no real blocking ability, which turned people off from allowing asks on their blogs so as a whole the site moved away from it

but now that we do have better blocking, we should try to revive it.
