This scam tactic consists of someone asking an artist to create two fanarts of Katara from Avatar: The last Airbender, often in two different poses. These scammers will usually ask you for your payment method and try to get you to send the art before they pay.

Beware of this AI "artist"

This is an awareness post about an AI "artist" commissioner (I presume) on instagram who already has 20k following. He charges something like $ 300 to trace AI images, from what I've been told. Support 'N' Awareness!

Are you an Artist looking for a safe space to post your art without worrying about people taking it and feeding it into AI? Do you just in general Hate AI-"art" Slop and want to support people against it? Are you Addicted to AI chat sites such as Character.AI, Jantitor.AI, Ect? I want to talk about a safe space for all of the above. It might sound a bit boring but hear me out. On discord a community was made to protest against Character.ai moving from chat generation to video generation/image generation. This community later became a safe space for artists. If You're an artist looking for a community to share your work with Feel free to join there is channels for sharing Drawings to photography all the way to sharing virtual builds on the sims. For people looking to support artists and looking for a safe space without having to See AI slop constantly feel free to Join! We have community channels like memes, QOTD, media, fandom forums and more. For people who are addicted to chat AI bots and have either considered quiting before or want to quit feel free to join as well. We offer support to people Looking to quit AI chat bots? we know AI chat bot sites can be just as addictive as Alcohol or smoking and it also takes the same amount of support and effort to quit, Although a lot of people don't quite realize getting off these sites especially for people lured onto them as minors will find it extremely difficult as these apps pray on minors due to how impressionable they are and lure them in. Even I myself am struggling to get off using c.ai and I've been supporting others to get off the app too. It can take anywhere from a month to years to get off and I want to support as many people as I can to get off these sites. And act that protests against AI slop and helps people suffering from addictions to chat AI's or other forms of generative AI. Another thing I want to talk about is how unethical AI models are. AI chat generation models are trained off of stolen writing from authors in places like Wattpad, Ao3, ect. And the AI image generation models are trained off of stolen artwork from places like Pinterest, Deviant art, tumblyr, ect. Another massive problem is that 90% of the time the servers that are used to generate these things all use water cooling systems, and once this water has been filtered through the servers it cannot be drank anymore as it becomes toxic. What makes that more problematic is how most of said servers are located in areas that suffer extreme droughts, so every message or chat you generate is taking drinking water away which especially bad this time of year when most of the world is facing heat waves and droughts.
