The people inside the walls kept the three girls’ hairstyles for their emblems. So I guess Royals (or at least Karl Fritz) had memories of them. Or maybe it was something simply passed down in history.

This leads me to believe that the legend of Helos was inspired by the man who tried to kill the First King with a lance in chapter 122. It also makes sense as to why the Titan of the statue in Marley had a beard and all.

And the text states that this man defeated the “devil of all land”, so I wonder if there isn’t some truth in there, even if the “Helos” in chapter 122 only managed to kill a victim. We were led to believe that the devil of earth was a titan, but maybe it was really just a human. One of the themes of the story is that evil is in human nature, after all, it’s not in the titans’. 

So it reinforces the theory that this picture - that I speculated symbolizes the beginning of the story of what has happened and will happen - represented the King and Ymir. The King would be the Devil of all earth = a source of evil that shaped the world our protagonists live in and that must be destroyed, like Eren said.

1958 children's Dictionary/Encyclopedia talking about space travel.

Its amazing to me what high hopes the people in 1958 had for our futures in space travel. Just recently we passed the 50year anniversary of the moon landing. We have stopped exploring on the same level as we did before and its depressing. One of my biggest wishes in life is that I hope I get to see the next step in space exploration.
