My first set of dice I ever bought for myself is this pretty transparent red and yellow set. I love them, but I'm 90% sure they have it in for me. Last dnd session, I rolled not one, not two, but *five* nat 1s. The first two were spaced out, so it wasn't that bad... The point where I gave up was when I rolled both my d20s to hit for my double attack, to save time, right? Nope, two nat 1s, ok fine I give up. Red and yellow is in dice jail now. Next turn I pull out my second set of dice, roll to attack... nat 1 again. The DM finally chucked one of his sets at me and the rest of the session went smoothly. I'm pretty sure my dice are cursed at this point.

Fun Fact: When I first started playing D&D, I thought that reaching 0 hit points meant instant death. As you can imagine, those first couple battles at level 1 were a bit stressful haha. I assumed our dm was being super nice when she only knocked our characters unconscious.

Shout-out to past me who unknowingly roasted a guy. So I'm at work (food service), it's pretty late, business is slow. So, two guys walk in, order, make small talk and the like, nothing major. They eat and then go to leave and one of them, looking slightly nervous, tosses a napkin on the counter in front of me and then goes to leave. Me, thinking it was a prank making me clean up after him just throws it away. I look up afterwards to lock eyes with the now dejected looking guy who had glanced back before he left. My coworker, who had been watching the whole thing, laughs, goes to the trash, fishes out the napkin, and then tells me to open it up. Turns out the guy had written his number on it. Oops.
