I projected my own nerve damage onto Stanford Pines and in an ironic twist of fate had the symptoms of said nerve damage flare up. So, this took a lot longer than I would have liked seeing as I started on…the 20th of September.
This took just over 26 hours!!! The longest I’ve spent doing anything ever I think. So I really hope it pays off and you can feel the pain I experienced drawing this!
Special thanks to all the friends I consulted while drawing this! Woulda looked a lot worse without you!

TRANSCRIPT AND ID UNDER CUT:
Young Stan stands in a blizzard. He's clutching his duffel bag strap and looking down.
Stan: "and then I woke up one morning and I had this voicemail."
Young Ford stands on his porch, leaning in the doorway with a hand over his face. He's unshaven, sweaty, and has marks on his hands.
Ford: "Look, I-I wasn't in the--"
Stan bitterly grins at Ford.
Stan: "you were happy on the voicemail. You sounded happy."
A shot of Ford, possessed by Bill, at a payphone. The cord is twirled around his fingers and he's grinning very wide.
Stan: "or smug or proud of yourself, or whatever you wanna call the thing you get that's the closest to what normal people call happy."
(the actual dialogue used in this scene/heard says "or lightly sardonic or glibly nihilistic or however you'd describe that thing you get that's the closest to the emotion that normal people call happy.")
Ford looks apologetically, tiredly, down at Stan.
Ford: "I'm sorry."
Stan: "And you were talking about swimming. I'm going swimming, you said."
We see Ford possessed by Bill at the payphone, leaned up against it casually and grinning.
Stan: "Since nothing matters anyway and you ruined my life, I might as well go swimming!"
A camera, recording, is seen. The shot zooms out to see that the camera is recording possessed Ford at the payphone. He's looking at the camera, smiling.
Ford: "I'm so sorry."
Stan: "I might not ever come back, so if you don't hear from me, I just want you to know it's because I never loved you."
We see Stan yell the last few words at Ford, face flushed and upset. The shot zooms out to show the two of them, Stan in the snow and Ford on his porch. There is distance between them. They are in a blizzard. It's silent for a few seconds.
