what brush/es do you use? it looks very satisfying to sketch with :D
I want to start off by saying I use procreate *gets tomatoes thrown at me*
Anyway I'm assuming your asking about just my funger art where I have genuinely only used one brush for all my sketches and lineart. It's called SAI Ink. The set is just called SAI Brushes. I've had these brushes since 2020 so I'm not really sure where I got them, but I don't want to post them here or anything since I didn't make them.
For my painting I just use the round brush that comes with procreate and liberal amounts of the smudge tool set to Medium Hard Brush (also part of the SAI Brushes set).
Anyway yeah it's really nice to sketch with, but I have ended up pressing too hard with my pen sometimes bc SAI Ink shows up as kinda like light/medium pencil strokes.
can i hear your headcanons for pav? maybe levi too since he seems to be a favorite!

To start I have said so many times that I think Pav is a really bad driver, like don't let him behind the wheel unless you wanna get in an accident, jumps the curb 3 times in a row and says "oopsie" kinda driver.
Although Daan is the only one we ever see smoking, I think Pav is also a smoker, not because of the allure of nicotine addiction (even tho he's probably smoked enough to be an addict at this point) but specifically so he can have smoke breaks. It was an actual thing for soldiers to take up smoking back in the day bc it meant you would get the right to a smoke break, and Pav seems like the type to take up smoking just to be able to have 5 minutes to himself outside. One of the rare respites for him when all he has is his desire of revenge to push him thru his duties as a soldier. When Pav was younger he'd probably also smoke to help with his nausea and to calm down when he struggled more on coming to terms carrying out his orders.
Small sidetrack to Levi but when he was around 16-17 he probably also tried to pick up smoking for the smoke breaks, but he would go thru smokes too quick, and before he knew it he was switching to opiates. And when you're running like a chicken with your head cut off to take care of child soldiers while high you don't really have time for smoke breaks anyway.
Another for Pav, is that I think he's shorter then most contestants, his physical strength and his Will Shoot You aura make him seem bigger then he really is. Speaking of shooting, we already know he's damn near a sharpshooter with his Lugr, but he probably would make bets with other soldiers on being timed to shoot bottles and other crap. He always won.
Related, but I think Pav is definitely the gambling type, he's willing to take risky bets bc he feels he doesn't have much to lose except his own life, which he's already dedicated most of to the army anyway. When he was younger he'd often make bets with other soldiers from drinking and card games to shooting practice. He didn't win every bet he made, but his little gambling addiction added an extra past time to his younger self's life and a way to ignore what was to come.
As Pav's gotten older he doesn't really do stuff like that anymore, not bc he's fucking tired (he is but he lies to himself) but he focused more on his obsession w the Kaiser as he grew up.
Last one for Pav, but I think he had a big family, a bunch of siblings. He wasn't the oldest or the youngest of his siblings, but he was old enough for losing everything to destroy him as much as it did.
Now I move onto Levi lol, I'll start off with a simple one but that's that he's a nail chewer, teeth grinder, lip biter, basically very fidgety and physical things that include causing minor harm are things he does to himself. He's been shot at and grazed by bullets but he's too afraid to commit to an act of more drastic self harm, so he chews on the skin around his nails and picks at scabs and cuts he gets. The only thing he tries hard not to mess with is his track marks, bc he's seen how ugly it gets when other soldiers have let their marks get infected, but he still scratches at them sometimes.
Related to being fidgety, but while he's always been someone who chews on his nails etc, it got worse once he started opiates, and combined with that he also became much more jittery. Like bouncing his leg, not able to get settled and stay still, moving a lot in his sleep, those kinda things. This obviously effects his shooting and he can be a pretty shaky shot when he's in withdrawal. With practice he was pretty decent before drugs. Unfortunately, his best shot is when he's high.
While Levi wasn't the best learner while at the orphanage, or even in the army sometimes, he's quick at picking up card games. It's an easy thing for him to zone in and focus on without being expected to talk, and out of all things he remembers from superiors and soldiers older then him during downtime, it's rules to card games. When he's 17-18 and was considered the older one in his group he liked showing the other kids how to play cards even if he's not a good teacher. Once he's on heroin he struggles to focus more when playing cards but he never seems to forget the game rules.
For Levi's whole motorcycle thing, I think not only is it a way for him to escape when he doesn't want to stay somewhere any longer, but it's also a sort of therapy to drive around and feel the wind on his face. A way to let his mind wander while still having to focus, and a way to distract from self destructive tendencies.
I don't have much to elaborate on this one but Levi's definitely got brain fog, not just from the heroin but he's always been someone who's had brain frog, especially when put on the spot or asked a question by someone.
Lastly, while Levi does like getting a little bit of attention and acknowledgment from people, he hates that he gets treated like a kid after what he's had to go through, and especially so once someone realizes he's an addict. He prefers suffering alone then being babied. There's a fine line where he does like having someone caring for him, especially when his withdrawals are really bad, but he doesn't want to be treated as if he can't make decisions for himself, even if they're bad ones.
Well finally mlady has A Name. Not her name but a name: Mrs. Liubov. I think it'd be funny for her lore if she never reveals her real name to any of the contestants, but I also just can't find a name that suits her (to me).
I also said that her skills are more or less effective on certain characters, and I think that her skills would be less effective on O'saa, Daan, and Karin, and more effective on Levi, Olivia, and Marina, with mixed results on Abella and Marcoh.
Overall I think she'd have a closer bond with Levi (cough cough codependency bc of her dead son and Levi's whole being orphaned cough), and Marina just bc having a cool mother figure that isn't afraid to kick ass in the death game (and that you can rely on) is nice. Tanaka, Marcoh, Daan, Abella, and Olivia are also cool with her bc shes very reliable and mild mannered (for the most part) while not letting people walk all over her. Caligula hates everyone and Henryk thinks she reminds her of home. <- Mom things
On the other hand O'saa and Karin are not fans of her, O'saa bc he can tell something is up with her and Karin can smell a liar from a mile away. They don't know what she's hiding but they both know she's hiding something. Samarie on the other hand is the only one that knows bc of the whole mind reading thing, but if Samarie was actually playable she'd probably stick to Liubov like glue. They both killed in misguided self defense for someone they love and Samarie understands why they've both done what they have. August doesnt really have an opinion other then a respect for her fight to stand up for her son .
Then there is Pav. Oh Pav. Liubov hates Pav. At first. Y'know her son was probably killed by a Bremen soldier and she isn't a fan of that and Pav literally does not care but she isn't about to just let him walk away. Pav thinks shes worse then Karin. Liubov ends up having a soft spot for Pav if she finds out he's actually Voronyian, but they bicker like siblings. Liubov doesn't mind bc it reminds her of her family back home, but otherwise she'd let him die in the street if she never finds out about his past.
I also want to touch on her relationship w Levi bc she has the whole projecting her dead son onto a boy who has been through Too Much. She wants to take care of him like that's her kid so she ends up doing stupid shit like getting him heroin bc this is codependency and her not moving on. Levi doesn't mind much even if he knows she just sees her son in him bc he's never really been doted on since his mom died and if he gets heroin out of it it's like a double win to him, all he has to do is make sure she doesn't get killed. Fucked up shit I know but it is what it is and this is Termina.
A final tidbit of info: Liubov is 42 years old making her one of the older contestants. And it's probably obvious but she never tells anyone about her whole husband killing scenario (other then involuntary thinking it around Samarie) but she isn't afraid to kill in Termina if someone finds out about what she's done or hurts any of the younger contestants. She is especially fond of the idea of bashing in Caligula's skull and smacking Henryk upside the head.

She's from the Eastern Union and her son died in the war and was buried in a mass grave along w many other soldiers. She thinks one of the best places to protest to bring the bodies home (along w other mothers in her hometown) is towards the Kaiser and other Eastern Union/Bremen officials in Prehevil. Unfortunately, like many termina contestants, she's super unlucky aka she's the only one going to Prehevil from her group of mothers to fight to get her son's body for a proper burial. She may have also accidentally killed her husband and can't stay in the Eastern Union anyway.

I had to think a while on what her skills Tender Care and Discipline do, but Scratch is pretty simple, and thank you so much!! I'm glad you like her portrait it took a helluva long time and I'm proud of how it turned out.
Scratch is sort of like a mother's/housewife's last resort or line of defense, to scratch someone with her nails, which is pretty grim but is kind of self explanatory for the person she is. Scratch, similar to the Scratch skill of some moonscorch enemies has the chance to cause infection or bleed but those chances are pretty low.
Discipline initially was going to be somewhat adjacent to Order, Charge! but I decided that it would make more sense that Discipline is harmful at the cost of a minor benefit. Sort of like a mother scolding you and berating you for not focusing it has a negative and positive effect. Both the Mother and whoever she's disciplining lose mind, but whoever is being disciplined will suddenly gain heighted attack or evasion for a brief period. Certain characters are more affected by this then others.
Tender Care is like the opposite of Discipline, and can only be used outside of battle. A mother's love and care can be very powerful and make a lot of difference depending on who received it, and sometimes no one understands love the same way a mother does. Tender Care can heal another's mind at the cost of the Mother's mind. Whatever amount of mind a person gains the Mother loses almost double that when using Tender Care. This would probably only be used when you got no alcohol or lavender on hand, and once again certain people are more affected by this skill then others.
Alas the Mother does not have a name yet (or I might've forgotten what I chose for a name at some point) so for now she's just the Mother.
