I just finished watching free! The final stroke part 2 and I just want to share this thought about the girl at the end

Potential spoiler

I think the girl at the end represents us the fans of the show. I saw it as her panicking that haru wasn't there as us not wanting haru to stop swimming and also it's a way the writers are telling us to pursue our dreams too (her looking at a billboard of haru with the "be strong be free" written on it seems like a message from Haru to us). Her resemblance to Haru too, it feels like they want to convey that she represents us and we can be the main characters of our stories too.

Also I think Haru was talking to us, a black screen, when he said him being ordinary can wait as a way to reassure us he will continue swimming. I could be wrong idk but that is the only way I could interpret it.

All in all, I'm too sad this 10 years journey jad ended for me😭

okay but does anyone notice that bucky is putting himself in the line of fire, probably because he believes that his metal arm will be enough to shield the both of them (even though steve’s shield is much bigger)? in this moment he is back in the 1940s, and the bullets are just punches being thrown at him that are meant for his skinny, defenseless friend steve. and the moment steve gets up and shoves his shield in front of both of them, bucky immediately wraps an arm around his shoulder as if to say, “i’ve got this,” and hold him closer to make up for the seventy years he missed out on. in this moment, he isn’t the winter soldier, a ghost story, or even sergeant james barnes of the 107th. in this moment, this is james buchanan barnes, doing what he knows best and protecting his friend from the dangers of the world. they say people change, but some habits stay the same, no matter what they go through.

My little art tribute to Bucky Barnes <3

I talked about this a lot before, but I started to really appreciate him as my disability representation. It gets me so emotional, especially the Wakanda scenes, when he’s at peace & without prosthetic arm. I truly hope he’ll get some happy story-lines in the future.
