honestly this film feels so much deeper to me than even the directors seem to have found it. Maybe it’s something about the way he doesn’t seem to realise that he isn’t “normal”. Maybe it’s something about how hurt he looked when Irene backed away. Maybe it’s the way the film got popular because so many people massively misunderstood the character. Maybe the way people read the character as some sort of tough guy, when he really just doesn’t want the people he cares about to get hurt. Maybe something about that reflects the film… but who am I to say.

I don’t exactly have a plan the characters will be dragging me along I just put them in situations for now it’s just a Project Hail Mary/Drive(2011) fic but chapter 2 or 3 will introduce Simon then god knows what from there. Watched Drive for the first time last week. Only a decade and a half late. Good film. My phone is actively trying to shoot itself so I couldn’t download a second editing software to cut off the CapCut sign but details, details. Super happy with this. Will be writing a fanfic so uuuh wish me luck
