THE FLAME AND THE MATCHES - RIVAL STREET GANG AU IDEAS - NACHO X JESSE
Don’t know what to put here. Nacho, inspired by picture above (his hair is a bit grown out. He keeps it shortish but a bit grown-out) is slowly rising through the ranks of one of Albuquerque’s largest gangs, with their color being red (shocker, I know). Tuco, No-Doze, and Gonzo (eventually Domingo, etc) are also a part of the gang. There are other gangs, two others in particular. Blue (Gus) and Purple (Eladio or Lalo idk yet probably Lalo).
Jesse is a guy who moves to ABQ after being forced to leave home by his parents. He’s from a very small town, so he has never encountered a gang or gang member before. His new place is in an apartment block in Nacho’s gang’s territory.
At first, the other man is just a general nuisance. But when Jesse complains to the wrong person or almost (unintentionally) gets Nacho in trouble or a friend of Nacho’s,(Domingo?) he is suddenly on his radar. And not entirely in a good way.
Nacho takes every opportunity to make Jesse’s life a living hell. He calls him Tinkerbell or Bo Peep or Rapunzel for his blonde hair. Him and his buddies harass him. Later, Jesse tries to find someone who’ll sell him drugs, other than them. He ends up having to approach Nacho.
Scene - Badger, Combo and Skinny Pete
Jesse approaches them to sell him some pot, but they won’t do it. They’re too scared of Nacho and them. “Man, I heard he eats people”
Jesse tries to hand out candy in his block for Halloween, because it’s something he did back home and enjoyed since he was a kid. The doorbell rings and thinking it’s someone, he goes to the door. It’s Nacho and his guys instead. They burst into his apartment from the hallway, thinking he’s dealing on their turf. When it becomes clear that it’s just candy, Nacho takes the bowl and they leave.
Nacho jumps down from the floor above Jesse as he runs away, landing right on the stairs before Jesse can escape. No-Doze not far behind. Jesse has his hands in front of his face, “Where do you think you’re going, Tinkerbell?” Jesse tries to fight them off, it doesn’t work out.
At one point, Jesse accidentally leaves his new shoes outside of his apartment. Nacho notices and takes them. When Jesse attempts to get them back (Nacho is seen by Jesse trying them on), he throws them onto an electric line as a signal to others for where his guys are dealing drugs.
Nacho seems to like practicing his baseball bat skills in a batting cage close to the complex. When Nacho’s finally alone, Jesse approaches him. Nacho ends up using the bat to hold Jesse under the chin, against a wall as they finish talking.
