I'm making a meme animation in 2026 and so far I only have Ragatha and Jax, I still need the others 🥀🥀

I'm so absolutely convinced Ragatha was Jax's first real relationship in the circus. Not his closest, but still deeply important in a way that keeps Ragatha in his head rent free. Especially now that he's seen at least two abstractions and both of his friends are gone.

No one that doesn't care reacts so viscerally to another person. Everything Ragatha says upsets him. He's always wanting Ragatha's reaction. He goes for Ragatha first when he wants something.

It’s giving the friends you joke around with and occasionally open up to vs the friend who you can truly be yourself around that you may have feelings for.

One interesting bit about Jax’s trauma scene is that people often think that it means that Ribbit, Kaufmo, and Pomni were the only ones he was close to/friends with, when that never struck to me personally! In my opinion, they stood as people he was friends with but barely got the chance/wanted to be emotionally vulnerable too, at least most of the time.
