It started off simple, you were teasing your boyfriend about how you could beat him in a race if you really wanted to. He’s a special Grade so he found it to be unlikely. He just nodded with a chuckle. “Of course you would.”

"Hey ! You don’t believe me ? You know what, lets play a game of tag !" You said as you jumped on your feet. He tilted his head. "It’s 3 am, angel." You ignored him and grabbed your shoes."It could be snowing outside. I wouldn't care. Come on, or are you scared to lose ?" He sighed. defeated.

You wouldn’t let this go for sure. "Alright, fine." The woods surrounding the school were surprisingly intimidating at night. You stepped outside a little less confident now. "You know we don't have to do this." Yuta whispered against your ear.

"Shut up, I'll win !!' You didn’t wait a second and began running. His eyes widened in surprise, you didn’t even announce the beginning of the game. “Cheater.”

For a moment, you thought you could actually win this game, he was so far behind after all. Your heart raced when you dodged the many obstacles on your path, feeling the fresh breeze of summer rain, mixing perfectly with the wood and muddy scent of the forest.

Your breaths came sharp and fast, running felt incredibly freeing but knowing he was actually chasing after you felt… thrilling.

However, your little moment of freedom was cut short, what you saw appeared to be a blur of your boyfriend, you couldn't tell when he catched up but now, he had managed to grab you by the waist, you couldn't even scream before he pinned you down on the dirt. He was careful not to hurt you in the process though.

"Gahh yuta !!" You gasped through your laughter. Your lids half closed from how much you smiled. He didn't say tag, yet so maybe you could still win this ?You began to squirm against him but suddenly he took a hold of both your wrists and pinned them above your head. Your breath hitched.

Sitting above, panting and staring back was the gentle and sweet Yuta you knew, but a little more... feral.His cheeks flushed into a deep red. You could see a pearl of sweat run down his throat, his dark hair a mess and eyebags appeared heavier than before, making his gaze much sharper.

"Angel.." he called, his voice low and growly. “Don’t run away from me again.” In his eyes, a similar possessiveness as Rika’s. It didn’t feel like Yuta anymore or maybe he always was a bit like this ? You knew he had some attachment issues but that was the first time you got to see them manifest with you.

He lowered himself, until you felt his warm breath melting with yours. He didn't do anything but being this close, in the middle of nowhere at night, so close to the point you could feel his warmth on your lips, the dirt under you when you were pinned down felt exhilarating.He moved slowly.

Too slowly when finally he captured your lips in a kiss. It was different from his gentle peeks. This time, he revealed himself in a more intense light. Pressing his lips to your mouth and pushing his body agains’t yours like he was trying to print his scent upon you.

His hands held yours against the ground, intertwining your fingers to his. You felt high on the sensations he gave, wishing this moment would never end.

But sadly, it did, he slowly pulled away and Went to rest his forehead against your neck he breathed heavily he felt so warm that your toes curled. He inhaled softly before saying ; “You’re it.”

It was a terrible idea, you thought you were wiser than that.

Scaramouche, the one guy who made your teenage years a living hell. He was a bully, he was rude, he was mean and sarcastic and privileged and annoying.

All that was behind you now, you were an adult, finally. Independant, sort of confident and even pretty !

But all it took was to meet him again at a party for you to crumble down to your knees.

He sat on the bed, legs crossed over the other. You thought so many times of what it would feel like the day you’ll meet him again. Your mom always told you that bullies turn out ugly, working a dead end job and karma always ended up getting back at them.

Rare were the mornings that you got to enjoy with him. Between managing the dawn winery and his own… “hobbies”, Diluc Ragnvindr was always busy. He’d be gone before the sunrise and back well after the sunset. You missed him.

So, you would try to wake up before he did so you could watch when he was still there and human and in your arms.

You cherished the stillness, the way his soft red hair would get messy and tangled in bed, laying on the sheets, reflecting the sunlight. He overslept today. Something incredibly rare from him. A selfish part of you was glad he did.

His chest, bare and warm rose in a slow rhythm, in sync with your breath. His heartbeat, a lullaby, but you were fighting to not fall asleep again. Careful to not disturb his rest, you slowly raised a hand towards his cheek.

As your fingertips hovered his skin, he caught your wrist in a loose grip.

His eyes opened, entirely focused on you. Without breaking eye contact for even a second, he guided your hand to his lips and gave you a kiss that barely brushed your skin, yet, was enough to make your cheeks warmer.

“Morning..” he muttered, his voice deeper with sleep.

Now that he’s awake, you find yourself anticipating the moment he’s going to leave.

But, to your surprise, he doesn't leave, he just lays on his back and stares at the ceiling. His brows twitched, deep in thoughts. He sighed and shook his head.

When finally he turns around and wraps both arms around you.Your face now tucked under his chin, he presses a gentle kiss on your head before burying his nose in the crook of your neck, inhaling your scent.
