Today is Thursday. AKA, my self-obligated "get my ass up to do some room cleaning day."

My bedroom is my "work space". God forbid my work space, which is also my comfort place in the house, isn't commonly taken care of.

Yknow what they say! Uh "clean room clear mind" or smth like that idk

BUT I will STILL pride myself with the title of "Continiously Cleanest Room In The Fucking House". The fact that I'm the only one who uses this room may also contribute to that smh...

Some unknown number send me a picture directly to my phone number. The image was an "We Are Hiring" ad advertisement that said:

"We are currently looking for several remote positions."

Number was unknown. No context but the image. I left it unread but proceeded to do a bit of digging for the images origin.

...the "For Hire" poster is a scam. The entire image is a "We Are Hiring" front for a big 'ol scam.

Now I'm just confused. What? Who's number is this? Is this just some weird scammer? No scammer's have directly TEXTED me ever- who is this?? Is this someone I know but just deleted their number off my phone sometime in the past?

If it was someone I knew irl...

I looked closer on the poster. Blah blah blah, lots of garbage I don't care about. Someone who knows me probably might still know I don't work smh. But who the fuck is-

The age requirement is at least 25 years of age and older.

Those that know me irl in the past know I'm not even 23.... nor was I touching my 20s when I talked to most of them last....

Say what ever you want about Altered Echoes, the history is boring, the motion sickness, the "Is too bright" thing, the "Ruins Dark Six mystery" and more but...thanks that for the new fans Dark Six has a more tragic and complex thing that the evil version of Six take back in 2017.

See how Six after being traped by the thin man isn't the same as the one we saw in the start of the franchise [VLN and the first half of LN 2] in a more literal way, like, bro got her soul split by a force of the nowhere is more interesting and was implied in LN 2 and LN 1 but i think no one saw that or had that take on Dark Six's implications.

Dark Six in general is the shadow of Six, yeah is kinda obvious but in the context of the phylosofical shadow, the one made by Nietzsche, the duality of yourself, the twist here is that the shadow of Six in this case is the most vulnerable side of her, the scared and fearfull girl of VLN and LN 2 that only wanted to survive in that weird place and with a bit of luck a companion, maybe in VLN didn't had a extreme frienship or conection with the misterious RCG but she tried to help her besides their constant "every guy by their side" situations in VLN, with LN 2 she needs of Mono to survive in some way as us need her to open our way from the signal tower.

Is heart breaking [at least for my stupid sentimental me] how Six betrays her own soul to have more advantage in the nowhere, how rejects her vulnerablity in order to be efficient to survive in a place like the nowhere, in this case how i mentioned earlier, theres a change of roles with the idea of the shadow made by Nietzsche, the body the physical self of Six is a empty being guide by instincts, in this way Six without her soul, without Dark Six is a resident or something similar to it, guide by instincts and empty, the perfect tool to start other cycle for the nowhere? prehaps.

Dark Six breaking the music box is parallel to Mono in the chair, Mono decides stay and accept his fate in the nowhere becoming other Thin Man, other host for the nowhere and other gear in the gigant complex of the nowhere as a sistem guided by insticts and violence. Dark Six decides escape, finds her way out, she is Six's pure human nature chasing herself to be one again.

This, this, this, this, this is exactly the way I feel about Altered Echoes after watching my beloved friend play it for us on stream.

My take on it is that Six has been split in half. The Six still in her body is a pure survivalist who focuses on getting through her situation. But Shadow Six is seen playing on the train tracks when she appears before Mono the final time. She's the half that got all of Six's childish curiosity and playfulness.

I don't think Six rejects Shadow Six because she dislikes her, though. I almost feel like Six does it out of a sense of protectiveness. Like, she knows that she can't be a helpless child in this world, so it's better to let go of Shadow Six and keep her at a distance. Maybe she wants to try and preserve some small piece of her "innocence" even when it means putting it outside her body.

But she won't accept that Shadow Six is part of her, linked to her in a way that can't be broken, and no matter how often Six will push her away Shadow Six will keep finding her. Despite Six's attempt to leave her behind, Shadow Six continues to watch Six during LN1. She watches as Six begins to eat living things, watches Six spiral into a monster.

So, we have one half who feels shunned and trapped in a "shadow", like a lost child, and another half that refuses to acknowledge her. Because she won't acknowledge her, Six gets worse. Some people like to think she can escape after the events of LN1, but I don't think Six can truly escape the Nowhere until her two halves can accept each other.

Monochromatic Insomnia: Little Nightmares Semi-Canon Divergence AU/AT

Monochromatic Insomnia - A fic written on Fanfiction.net by pinkCeku (me!) originally published and completed in March-April of 2021. A take on the "What if Six didn't let go of Mono?" divergent-canon theories discussed around the end of Little Nightmares 2 at the time. It follows the main setting premise of the first game (Little Nightmares 1) with the inclusion of Mono and RK alongside Six's expedition throughout the Maw.

Most fandom indulgent art pieces may start to become more far, few and between from each other until Art Fight begins, in which that will probably be where most of my main art-focused activities will be residing!

I won't stop making fandom-centric art!! My first love was making art for fandoms I love and I'll always end up doing that until I vanish into the 4th or 5th dimension.

But I will be focusing more on Art Fight prep leading up to July 1st. Once Art Fight begins, Art Fight will become the main focus.

There may be some small doodles and art posts here and there- no promises! It also always depends on my mood and what worms itself into the crevices of my brain. :)

Just realized my whole "online brand" is a huge fucking bait and switch.

I go by PINK. I present myself as a fluffy, brightly colored fox creature. My designs have bright or soft palettes and my style leans to the general "friendly" or "cute" side

But I actually love horror-centric anything. :) I will draw blood and wounds and psychology-terrors and anything that could be considered "scary" or "unsettling". I love it its fun!

Idk. I always thought the whole bit of "cute and soft but also uncanny and terrifying" is so fun. I love the contrast and what it can bring to the table :D
