Help me identify this Astral place please

on ostara i had a vision of a place i think i may have called home, i really want to find out if anyone else have seen this place, been there or lived there. i want to be able to talk with others about that place.

i’ll try to describe the place to the best of my ability:

it was a desert looking place, a bit like picture number 2, a round upward or downard “hill” of sand.. 

the landscape beyond that circle was just..still sand? like there were no wind? following the border of the huge circle were enormous white stairs (they followed the “circle” about 2/3, and had few steps). i don´t know or remember what exactly the purpose was of that stair.

inside the circle were patches of ‘cities’. huge distance between them, they were small in diameter but the few skyscraper like buildings there were, were immensely high.

if anyone has been there/ heard of this or know someone who might know of this place, please let me know.

Cosmetics and Glamour

In this post, I’m going to cover my personal magical associations with facial cosmetics, nail polish, and perfume. If you wear cosmetics, this is a simple way to introduce and include magic into your daily routine. Foundation Think “invisible ink!” Have a goal you’d like to focus on for the day? Write it on your face using your foundation, and then rub it in. For example, write “successful interview” if you have an interview that day. You could write “listen” below your lips if it’s important to listen, rather than talk for the day. Write “glamour” under your eyes if you’re trying to impress someone. Cheeks Blush generally comes in three categories: cool, neutral, and warm. Need to stay calm for the day? Use a cool shade. Participating in an activity that you’re deeply passionate about? Use a warm shade. Wear a neutral shade when you want to put on your best poker face. Eyes The eyes have the personality. If you need to look bold for the day, use dark colors, bold mascara, and dark eyeliner. If your desire is to be charming or friendly, you might want to try pastels and light mascara. Bright and creative, try using bright colors, such as aqua, yellow, and lime green. Lips The lips are an accent to the eyes. If you want someone to focus on what you’re saying, try using a bright shade of red. Need to flow through your day? Use a light shade of pink. To stay grounded, use neutral or clear lip balm. Nails The wonderful thing about painting your nails is that there are so many possibilities! Paint sigils in your first coat of polish, or in your clear top coat. Paint animals or objects as designs on your nails. Cat eyes to stay quick and on your feet about a situation, pumpkins for protection, candy to sweeten others to you, the moon to appear mysterious. If fancy nail art isn’t your thing, you can just use color magic.

Common colors and a few of my associations:

Red - passion, lust, sexuality, warmth, fiery, strong foundation, danger Orange - energy, excitement, full of nutrients Yellow - happiness, ideas, creativity, sour Green - growth, healing, earth, money, luck Blue - calmness, subconscious, emotions, communication, water Purple - psychic energy, power, meditation Pink - love, romance, flirtation, harmony Grey - stormy skies, shadows Brown - neutral, grounding, stability, dirt Black - power, absorbing, hidden White - power, reflecting Perfume Perfume associations can come just from the name of the perfume itself. A perfume called Island Breeze might be associated with relaxation and vacation. One called Royal might be associated with royalty and being unstoppable. because the small particles doesen´t get caught up in the filters, so they go straight out into the ocean. it´s plastic particles…

knit your own wash cloths out of cotton! 

it´s a small investment but will save you money in the long run! 

you can make them super simple, or you can make them more complicated with patterns! 

they´re cute and non damaging!

mythology: siren aesthetic 1/?

suddenly the ship fell silent, a voice as serene and beautiful as the ocean cutting trough the thick fog. the young men froze in their spot, it was as if time had stopped, like their hearts soon would. he felt his throat clench as a young girl swung herself over the railing, her bare feet hitting the wood of the deck.  her skin a sick blue colour, her eyes as black as the night she was born of, as dark as the crews future. but all he felt was wonder, as he observed this creature, her voice as ascended from heaven but her heart as non-existent as the god they were all praying to.

“please let me live”

and so she did. she let one young man be, his heart the only one pure enough to spare. left him to die at sea like she once did. and so she waited for her lover to come by and wrap the dying men in her embrace. her lover was death you see, and just as cruel as she.

If you accidentally cut yourself (i.e. knife slips while chopping food, etc.) you can save any blood or blood stained tissue for future protection jars/spells to ward and protect against accidents because reflexive magick 👌🏻

Hair magick

I already talked about tea magick, so I decided I should also discuss another underappreciated form of craft that is perfect for secret witch: hair magick. This is very, very powerful and non suspicious form of magick which is not practiced commonly. You could ask why I think it’s powerful? Well, hair are part of your body. They hold your energies, intentions and in some traditions even your powers. During witch trials every witches’ head was being shaved to make her weak and powerless. Some cultures do not cut their hair at all or cut them only if big accomplishment were achieved. By adding your hair to spell you bind it to yourself, making it almost impossible to affect anyone but you. I personally consider it as powerful as blood magick.

Ok, this is great. But how do I practice it? Traditionally you would cut piece of hair and add it to spell you are already crafting. But as all of craft hair magick evolved too. So, today hair magick can be adding piece of hair to spell and binding it to you, thus making it more personal and stronger or using hairstyles as a spell itself

You can also take some hair from your hairbrush, twist it into something ‘rope’ like and do knot spell on it. (I did glamour that way. It was very strong. I almost looked like goddess of some kind and have to break it bc I got too much attention.)

Now you must surely wonder: hairstyles? How? Isn’t it ridiculous?

And that’s exactly the reason I’m writing this post. As I said hair magick is very underappreciated and I find it fun and fashionable way to do my craft. Your body is your shrine and every spell made on part of your body is powerful because of it.

Hair magick spells can be (and mostly are) wordless, because focusing on your intention is all that it takes for it to work.

I don’t understand. Could you give some examples?

Hair magick is all about personal associations. Everyone has different, right? So I’m going to give you some ideas about mine associations and spells and you are going to decide if they suit you, ok? You can always make your own for your practice ;)

Hairstyles 3 strand braids: knot spells, basically universal usage. Can be used for everything except curses. (Twisted?) Ponytails: ‘getting things straight’, motivation, ‘getting job done’, 4 and 5 strand braids: combo spells. For example: combined good luck and money spell to help you win some money. Use for complex goals and long term wishes. Braid ribbon/s into them to connect two spells and add more power to them. Messy Buns: ani-anxiety spells, anti stress spells, spells to make you get rid of unwanted thoughts Braid Crowns: honoring your gods if you have ones, glamour, confidence spells Curls: binding and curses to ‘wrap your target around your finger’ (be careful with curse to not attache it accidentally to yourself!) Waves: honoring water element, getting hold on your emotions, emotional healing Twists: getting rid of obstacles, Chinese Staircase Ponytail: wish spells (this one is very effective. You can find out how to do in on YouTube)
