I go to leave and AN SA CALLS OUT “excuse me, you two need to come back in here!”. I didn’t realise what my buddy had done until I felt my pockets and I SWEAR MY SOUL LEFT MY BODY. I PUT ON THE WATERWORKS, EVERYTHING, EVEN OFFERED TO PAY FOR IT AND APOLOGISED SO HARD BUT THE SA WAS ALREADY CALLING SECURITY. 

What should I have done? Obviously stay put and give them the truth, save my own ass and get back at the bitch of a friend for doing this to me.

What did I do? Say “you have no right to hold me and you can’t touch me, I’m leaving lol bye” AND SPRINT OUT OF THE FUCKING MALL WITH MY FRIEND!!!!!

So yeah, if you go with a lifting buddy make sure they won’t try to fuck you over.

I was shopping at Nordstrom Rack today (NOT LIFTING) and I beeped on the way out. I literally stood there for a second looking around and nobody even looked up. I had to literally go up to a cashier for her to say “ok I’ll check your bag in a minute”. Moral of the story is I don’t need to have much anxiety over leaving a tag on something when I lift there.
