So, I've been noticing a huge influx of new lift blogs lately. I suspect borrowing Tik Tok is responsible for this, which is a problem in itself, but that's a whole other post (don't post about lifting on Tik Tok y'all, seriously). I'm really glad to see the community reviving itself, but when scrolling through these new blogs, I've noticed a ton of them reblogging outside the community. This really sucks, because most OG liftblr users will block blogs that reblog outside the community. This is because it exposed the community. New liftblrs, please keep your lifting blog strictly for lifting. Do not reblog anything that did not originally come from a lifting blog. We will not follow or interact with you if you do this, for the safety of the liftblr community as a whole.

One of the absolute worst things about them is their false information. T!kT0k is filled with young kids, and giving 10 year olds false stealing tips that are bound to get them caught just for t!kt0k clout is so disgusting. Not only are they exposing the community, they’re also telling kids that places like Ulta, Target, Walmart, and Kohls are easy to lift from. And while they may be for some people and at some locations, all of those stores are terrible ideas for beginners.

PSA: You are not the only lifter in your area

Check pockets of clothing for RFIDs and hard tags before taking them yourself. Someone could have used that pair of pants you picked up as their hiding spot for tags. Check everywhere for tags on the item but check in pockets as well! Don’t get caught because someone else hid tags inside an item💓
