Happy 20th Anniversary to the Animal Crossing series!
Warning: next one has gory stuff going on
So I'm not the only one who would like a full AC mod of friday night funkin?
i love animal crossing but here's my wishlist of ideal changes:
more slots for custom designs!!!! im suffering!!! esp when it's a path w/multiple parts (i don't even use those anymore bc i dont have space)
being able to store flowers! having em in yr pockets makes design planning harder and they take up a lot of room. or at least make them stackable!
for all villagers with five o clock shadows to just not exist. same for rodney.
having an external storage chest on the island!
for isabell to stop being mad picky ab "clutter"/for the rating system to be less strict/not based on one standard design style
being able to move resident services or the airport bc listen. i'd pay like a million bells to move mine if i could.
an option to keep the snow year round because it's so pretty!
directly giving someone straight up nook miles (the same way you give someone bells) instead of nook mile tickets bc it'd make trading a lot easier
having more than one acct on each device
ok that's it but feel free to add your own ideas if ya want :)
Multiple stops nmt. Fuck, I'd pay 3000 nook miles for a ticket that'd let me skip going to the airport and 5 minutes of dialogue. Multiple crafting. It's a pain in the ass 1 by 1. Bulk buying in ables. Add a shopping cart, ok? Let us track visitors or villagers? Too many times I have lost my friends while visiting or my villagers are in the museum when i need them. Let's use the map app as a gps too? Let's use the incoming screen in the airport to know which friend has their gates open? Easier to keep track of. Bring back brewster and let him sell those hand held foods our villagers have that we don't. This is just petty of mr but i love the drinks and donuts they have. Give us the option to keep 10 villagers or add 3 more. Different ppl have different islands. MULTIPLE ISLANDS ON ONE SWITCH!
when i say âunfollow me if you support trumpâ im not saying it ironically. no, seriously, if you support trump then i dont want your disgraceful ass to be in any way associated with my blog. get out.
Silly story
We were just enjoying the Toy Day party at the Mayor's house. Music playing some strange new singer the mayor liked, food out, good friends....but....the music suddenly changed tone...When it did, the lights went out...
Oh God, Lolly......something is wrong with the mayor!!!
Something happened in Nightvale....

Hey yeah this is very important.
Amongst some of the things than could happen are:
âą Downloading, and distribution of PDF files would be illegal, as well as photocopying books.
âą Downloading files for academic investigations would become illegal.
âą English, robotics, and engineering workshops would become illegal.
âą Costs in education would increase.
That last one is particularly important because sadly, Mexico doesnât have a great public education system, thus, many people have to enroll into private schools and most of them are very very expensive. Sadly almost half of the population here lives in poverty, in consequence many children arenât able to go to public schools. let alone costly private schools.
âą Amongst the things that would turn illegal too, would be electronic repairing businesses, and only those businesses with authorized licenses could work.
âą It would be illegal to add components to electronic devices, such as RAM memories, better processors, amongst others, regardless of the fact that said components were bought legally.
âą Maintenance costs would increase as it would be illegal to fix your own electronic devices, even if itâs just a small touch up.
If things werenât already bad, the way we use the internet would be affected.
âą Access to internet would become more expensive, new taxes would be added to platforms as well as media.
⹠Internet providing services could block the access to downloading images, music, videos, books, pretty much any content that could be found on the internet, including memes.
And last but not least.
Internet censorship.
âIf someone points out any post or publication that violates authors rights, said post or publication must be hidden, eliminated, or disabled without previous notice, proof, or any jurisdictional order coming from the internet provider (âŠ)â
Thus anyone, corporations and organizations, could demand for anything to be deleted and there wouldnât be any reason to stop them as they would protect themselves with alleged authors right accusations.
Overall, our government looks forward to silencing us, keeping us quiet and not allowing us of freedom of speech.
This can have awfully consequences, as we would be silenced for expressing our political views and content would be manipulated to fit a certain political narrative.
369 votes were given in favor to this law, 0 against it and 1 abstention.
I am asking for everyone out there to please share this. My future and many others would be greatly affected by this law, many people could lose their jobs and fall deeper into the ever growing line of poverty that Mexico has.
We canât allow for the government to keep us silenced and censored.

2 days ago Mexico passed a law that criminalizes internet neutrality. You can even go to jail for fixing your tech devices in your own home! Please even if you r nt from Mexico help us to boost this hashtag we have a until july 31 to do something about it!

this meme made me realise that other people apparently know how to show empathy without personal anecdotesÂ
⊠howâŠ. please teach me
Iâm pretty sure none of us will get answers but pleaseâŠif someone knows the secrets to showing empathy without personal anecdotes please speak up. We need answers
(Me (adhd + autism) can show empathy, but not sympathy. For me, itâs like I do the exact same thing, but as well as showing empathy through anecdotes I show sympathy through empathy).

I have somethin I guess? Iâve been the Support Friend for most of my life so I managed to get it down to a formula. TW: dog death
1. Ask Questions
This is mainly to keep them talking, that way a) they feel like they have a confidante in you, and b) the pressure is less on you to Say Things. In fact it shouldnât be about you Saying Things at all, it should be you figuring out where theyâre at and trying to understand. E.g. âMy dog died, I miss him.â Ask questions, and when they start talking, let them talk. âWhat was his name?â âHow and when did he die?â âTell me about him.â âWhat was he like?â âWhatâs your favourite memory of him?â âWhen did you first meet him?â âDid you teach him any tricks?â Again the point is to keep them talking, the questions are just to get them on a roll. If youâre worrying about what to say next, listen to what theyâre saying and ask details of what theyâre currently talking about, or mentally prepare your next question.
2. Listen
Let them talk. The more you listen to them talk, the more they feel like itâs okay to talk to you. If they dwindle off, ask them something else to get them talking again. Upset people usually have a lot to say.
Every now and again you can throw in little sentences like âWow, what a bitch!â âAw, so sad.â âWhat the fuck? Why?â just to prove youâre still listening and following, and havenât wandered off into space.
3. When theyâre done, give it back to them
Itâs a technique called mirroring. Sum up whatever you heard in short form - if theyâve talked for half an hour about the little details of their deceased pet, say something like âIt sounds like he was a very good boy/sounds like he meant a lot to you/sounds like you will miss him.â Itâs been known to make people dissolve into a sobbing mess, because this is the part where you prove youâve done your homework, you listened, you care, you get it.
4. If you really want to offer a solution, ask first. You can just skip this step altogether tbh.
Only when someone has finished talking about whatever is upsetting them, ask if you can help. âCan I offer some advice?â Now is the time for SHORT anecdotes. Short. Itâs not about you sharing your story, itâs about them getting advice. Remember they donât have to take your advice, again itâs about them and their emotions, and they know themselves best. âWhen my dog died, I did this. Would that help?â âI read somewhere about doing this. Maybe try that and see how it goes?â
Hope this helps yâall. The TL;DR of all this is basically listen, and prove youâre listening.
Thank you!!!
That explanation really is so good!
as someone with ADHD: this has saved me
Iâve been waiting for this
Attention non-artists who commission artists: donât fuckin do this???
Actually had someone do this to me too. Was doing a art stream, it took me over 2 hours to do his inked commission, he got a refund cause âit took too longâ that he figured I wasnât going to do it after I gave him the file.
Donât do this. Do not.
Iâve had this happen to me with a $350 comic :/ I had already finished it, it was full color, 6 panels and had a full bg in every panel. I was lucky in that I didnât spend him money yet, but it left me without funds. Iâve also had the above happen to me as well.
Donât do this shit to artists. Weâre people too. Drawing for you is more than a hobby. Itâs a job.
Use Paypal Invoices.Â
I cannot stress this enough. That shit helps A LOT when it comes down to Paypal refunds/disputes. Thereâs a description box that letâs you put in what the product is/how long itâll take/yadda yadda, and then thereâs another little memo box that only you and paypal can see where you can say itâs a digital commission and doesnât require shipping (So Donald Mcfuck canât say that they never got their commission). And thereâs also a box for your Terms & Conditions where you can say, if you have any conflicts/want a refund - email me, or you can actually tell the user that this is a digital commission and they wonât be getting a hard copy of it.
ARTISTS. PLEASE USE PAYPAL INVOICES. it will SAVE you. And to: the people who do this to artists â Fuck you. Itâs okay if you change your mind and want a refund. But freaking TALK to us and let us know whatâs going on. Let us WORK with you.
ALSO A HUGE TIP: Invoices paid will automatically set up a shipping notice which, if not fulfilled, can land you in SERIOUS hot water with PayPal. Since a lot of artists donât print and ship the commissions, this is a huge problem.
However! Totally manageable. Just go to your PayPal, scroll down to find Seller Preferences
>> Shipping Preferences
>> Display Ship Button. Make sure all the boxes are unchecked. Then youâre all set!
As a big supporter of artists, donât you ever fucking dare fuck over an artist like that. Like donât. And if they take their time to do a good job, donât shit all over them for it! Donât be a fucking ass hole. Just donât. These people put a  LOT of work and time and effort into their artwork. Just donât be that guy. Often times these artists arenât even getting what they deserve in compensation.Â
I am very grateful my customers have been good to me, but Iâm spreading the word.
Very important!
As a new artist, Iâm very grateful for this post. Never knew this. Thank you.
I want everyone to see this official european Donald Duck comic where Donald meets duckified youtubers. The story is that heâs trying to buy an xbox when he finds out that he can win one at a youtube video contest so he gets Gearloose to build a machine that can copy peopleâs talents and then he stalks several popular youtubers in order to get close enough to plant the talent stealing gadget on them. But something goes wrong with the machine and he transforms into a brainless youtuber whose videos are cringe.
Gyro fixes him but his nephews upload the video without his knowledge and it even gets submitted to the awards, but Donald doesnât win and so everything returns to normal. The end. This comic is 10 pages long and the remaining 502 pages of comics have nothing to do with youtube. One of them is about the Beagle Boys becoming rappers? Also this translation is in Norwegian but I think the youtuber cameos are Finnish maybe. Anyway this book cost 13 euro at the grocery store and it was worth every coin.
Hektor fjotberg?? Is this a reference to the YouTube Felix kjelberg? Pewdiepie?
The faces make sense for his earlier career
anyways hereâs how to not be shitty to autistic people since apparently yâall need someone to sit down and tell you
things not to mock us for:
-âpicky eatingâ
-wearing the same clothes everyday
-carrying around a comfort object (might be something like a stuffed animal, a toy...)
-wanting to have the same conversation / tell the same joke multiple times
-stimming in public or private
-stuttering
-repeating words or phrases, taking a long time to form a sentence
-being hyperempathetic / hyper emotional, spontaneous tears/outbursts/etc.
-on the other hand lack of apparent emotion, appearing disinterested / apathetic
-meltdowns
-not wanting to be put into social situations, being excessively tired
-our interests
kind things you can do for your autistic friends:
-letting us infodump to you
-listening to us when weâre having trouble making much sense, asking helpful questions, being patient with us
-âcan I hug you?â goes a long way
-providing more food options / having our samefood available, eating can be really difficult for a lot of us
-helping them if they need help with social situations, like calling in for food or talking to a salesperson. these things can get really hard for us some days.
-letting us stim and not being judgemental
-giving us space when we need it without getting offended
-if you think weâre having a meltdown or sensory overload (you may be able to tell by our mask dropping, appearing disinterested, twitching, using their body to stim (maybe aggressively), etc.) here are some things you can do:
-if theyâre violently stimming, ask them gently to open their hands if you think they might hurt themself
-use clear language to communicate with them
-be calm, please donât yell
-offer them a way out of whatever situation theyâre in
autistic ppl can add on, allistics can rb but be quiet

as someone with ADHD: this has saved me
A good short version of this in action that Iâve found helpful is the scene in Inside Out when Sadness comforts Bing Bong when heâs upset over his wagon.Â
She listens, asks questions, gives it back while validating his feelings, and she doesnât offer a solution or, as Joy does, try to get him to just ignore his grief and shove it aside. She offers a hug when he needs it, which YMMV on how you feel about physical contact but if you are up for it hugs help. Itâs like Sadness says when Joy asks how she made him feel better âI just listenedâ.
And again, this is a very simplified version, but I feel like it helps me to help understand something if I have an example, and this is a good one.
I'm autistic and ADHD. This may help but idk....

STOP ICE FROM POISONING IMMIGRANTS!
Help stop the gassing of Immigrants!!
We need to do more than sign a petition. Don't shut up about this.
happy birthday Donal- oh, whatâs that? youâre busy? alright thatâs cool you take care now stay safe out there buddy
We should be more pro-active or weâll see more of such sad fates of honest people.
And the utterly ironic thing is Iâve seen repeated tumblr posts of that iconic photo absolutely slagging the shit out of Peter Norman as âlol white guy so uncomfortableâ  âWhy the fuck isnât he supporting themâ, etc etc.
As an Australian this post surprised me. I knew none of the above.
People need to learn this shit so they can emulate it - this is what it means to stand in solidarity with people; it tends to be a difficult, quiet thing that costs you, and yet itâs the right thing to do.Â
