The God Wars
In the beginning…
belief and rituals shaped the first gods from the dreams of man.
As the civilizations of man grew, so did the strength and influence of their deities.
In return for sacrifice, the gods gifted their followers with mystic might.
But the people wanted more than these gifts could provide.
In their souls the people found their own power. They called it “Craft.”
The gods, jealous and afraid,
struck down the firsts of these Craftsmen.
Thus the God Wars began.
But the gods were formed from the faith of man. It was a war they could not win.
And so the Craftsmen took up the mantle of the gods and rule in their stead.
why does this have so few notes
Holy crap this is amazing
If you aren’t pro ugly Victorian wallpaper then what are you even doing
Crawling along the floor after having shredded every last stitch of it off the walls so I can let out the lady trapped inside it.
tips for what to do after a really long cry because you’re probably feeling all kinds of exhausted and drained and i don’t want that for you in the slightest:
take a shower and change all of your clothes even your socks and underwear. this is the first step to everything.
pour yourself a big, cold glass of water and drink it. all of it. once you’re done, get yourself a refill. this will boost u physically and emotionally instantly please trust me.
grab a snack, something light that you don’t have to wait to prepare. i recommend a pudding cup, a piece of fruit, yogurt, a popsicle, or some crackers.
get under the covers. turn on something - tv, a movie, music, anything distracting. or consider calling a friend or talking to anyone nearby, even your sibling the next room over!!
know that you are loved. you are important. you mean more than you know right now, more than you will maybe ever know. you are worth all the stars in the sky. you deserve to feel good.
please make sure you stay super hydrated afterwards if you can’t during. the body has a funny way of punishing you via headache for being sad and you don’t deserve that, so drink<333
This scene hit me in a very specific way. I wept tears in an instant.
Greg and Steven have always been my touchstones when it’s come to Steven Universe. Their dynamic, their interests, the fact I look like Steven. Greg reminds me of my godfather but he’s also goals for who I want to be, in terms of his empathy, compassion, love and communication, etc.
I just don’t know where I’d be without Greg as a guide, having longed for a father and never had one. I don’t know where I’d be without shit show helping me learn to communicate and love and express myself, and everything I hold dear.
But this moment.
Steven’s room became Greg’s room. Steven’s room became my childhood room. Steven’s room became the room I gave to my mother when I moved into my sister’s room.
I had these glow in the dark star stickers.
And in this moment everything that this show meant to me aligned. In this brief instance, it became everything it meant to me all at once.
And boy did I weep.
Thank you Steven Universe.
(MORE THAN OKAY TO REBLOG, please do. i wanna share the love)

Do you think kids during the industrial revolution had that same weird millennial/gen z experience of having technology change so much while they were growing up

the 17th century was called ‘the golden age of piracy’ and now that i’m reading about it it’s really not surprising that piracy appealed to so many people
like, you get to be gay, do crimes, and you have health insurance? well then, just call me jolly roger and pass the rum lads
hey i’ve seen a few people in the comments calling her an amazing ally, and i wanted to remind y’all that kesha is an out bisexual woman
Her bisexuality is erased ‘even’ by ‘LGBTQ’ media on a regular basis, so sadly, it’s not surprising. So, once again: Kesha is bi.

Slutty in theory but not in practice
when moses returned from the mountain with the stone tablets with the 10 commandments and saw the people worshipping the golden calf
I want to apologise to
- Britney for making fun of her when she had her breakdown
- Monica Lewinski for judging her when she was a 22year old temp sexually assaulted by the most powerful man in the world
- Ke$ha for ever thinking she was trashy when all she wanted to do was make party music
- Kristen Stewart for ever thinking she was dumb when she’s actually one of the coolest people ever
- Megan Fox for ever thinking she was just a slut when actually she was an actress being harassed by her employer.
- Hating all the women who made a career out of having a hot body. Being is shape is hard, beauty is a weapon and auto promotion is hard work.
- All the Mary-Sues, who exist because young girls everywhere want to be part of a story they love so much
- All the female characters I ever snobbed because they got in the way of my ship.
- Hating the color pink during my teenage years, when it’s actually a lovely color and what I resented was society’s pressure to perform femininity.
This is what sexism does. The media runs a smear campaign against women. And when we were younger we knew no better and trusted them. Now we know better.
