This is one of the business lots in my new "Beachy Hood" project.
It will be included with that hood, when it is released... someday soon!
Meanwhile - here is a preview version of this lot for your own hood.
My friend asked if I could build something for her birthday present, and I came up with this old school market hall.
While Foxfire is a hot mix of whatever I feel fits in, it's not exactly a city-like environment. It was fun to build something in a totally different scale for once!
Easy Inventory Check is required for this mod, and the traits of course.
I edited Simler90’s “Outfit Sense” to make sense with traits and also edited two Global BHAVS that control playable Sims getting dressed for community lots and getting dressed for going home.
Obviously, this mod conflicts with Outfit Sense.
Effects
This mod changes what outfits Sims will appear in, on community lots, as walkbys, welcome wagon, etc.
Sims with the “Snob” trait are considered when the mod checks if a Sim should wear formal wear
Insane Sims run a random chance of showing up in Formal, Pajamas, or Underwear.
Inappropriate Sims run a random chance of showing up in their pajamas.
Couch Potato Sims run a random chance of showing up in their pajamas if its before noon
Global Effects
I also edited two Global BHAVS that control for Sims getting dressed for traveling to community lots and going home from community lots. Insane Sims run a fifty percent chance of not changing into casual from another outfit, so they may choose to go to a public lot in their formal or undies! They also won't change to casual when leaving the lot. No naked though, all Sims will change out of naked.
Inappropriate Sims run a thirty percent chance of not changing out of pajamas or undies to go to a lot and won't change to Casual when leaving.
Couch Potatoes run a thirty percent chance of not changing out of pajamas to go to a public lot and won't change to Casual when leaving.
I saw this image at the beginning of the week and was inspired to make the chair and table for sims. Turns out they’re designed by a man named Jean Prouvé so all credit for the design goes to him. I tried to keep as close to the original image that I could, but there are probably several differences. Anyway, the chair has two subsets and comes in the two colours shown (note that they’re both in the same package-file) and the table also comes in the two colours shown. The chair costs 300 Simoleons and the table 1500 Simoleons. They’re expensive because designer furniture often is, and I wanted more items for my sims to be able to splurge on ;)
Feel free to re-colour or modify in any way you’d like and please let me know if I messed anything up.
This set were converted by pinketamine like a gazillion years ago, but It had some weird shadows and the downloadlink doesn't work, so I reconverted it. The loveseat and armchair are slaved to the sofa. It comes in 10 colors. Low poly. Enjoy! :)
Maxis Match Recolors of FreshPrince’s Entertainment Center
Basically Amused Sims shared these recolors of a very nice entertainment center for your sims’ living rooms. The mesh is included with the download since FreshPrince’s original mesh isn’t available anymore.

Sims 3t2 Traits - Talk About Hobby (Trait mod for Sims 2)
Because Beau Andrews has the "Can't Stand Art" trait, he always rejects when Sims talk about Arts and Crafts to him!
This mod edits the "Set Result" BHAV for "Talk About Hobby".
In the unmodded game, Sims without the hobby will still accept talking about said hobby if the two Sims relationship is high. This mod adds some caveats to that.
Effects:
Sims with the Can't Stand Art trait will always reject talking about arts and crafts.
Sims with the Technophobe trait will always reject talking about Tinkering.
Sims with the "Hates the Outdoors" trait will always reject talking about Nature.
2026/05/24 : Fixed footprint (Sims walking through the shelves), and fixed slots refusing lots of deco clutter.

Everything you need to know under the cut :
The shelves are priced from 40$ to 240$ and categorized as Surface>Shelves. The plain doors are priced from 15$ to 90$, the glass doors from 20$ to 120$ and both are categorized as Deco>Misc.
The shelves have 5 slots for each box. You will only use 3 of them at the same time because the ones on the sides are really close to each other because depending on the size of the deco clutter you want to place on it, you will sometimes need one or the other. For exemple, the deco books and the small easels are using different slots on the edges otherwise they'd clip with the sides or with each other (you can tell with the candles that show you the 5 slots) :
I also edited the door meshes a bit : some had offset handles (they are now centered). I also raised them up a little to prevent them from touching the floor : they are now properly aligned with the shelves.
I also repo'd the glass of the glass doors to the Banquet of Six dining table from the Glamour kit, because I already have a few recolors for it (and the game has two different colors anyway so it's still nice even without recolors). Everything else is repo'd to the Dahlen bookcase from the Basegame.
Please note that I might have edited the filenames as I have them in my game for YEARS so you should take care to remove them from your Downloads folder before adding my edits as they might not overwrite the old files. Catalog description in ENG and FR. Press M to switch between slots.

This mod allows two romantically involved Sims to share a shower in the shower-tubs.
Once the first Sim is taking a shower in the shower-tub, the second Sim can be directed to join them, or will do so autonomously, provided they can “Make Out” with each other. Or the Sim in the shower can ask another Sim to join them.
Includes minor fixes to the two Maxis shower-tubs to enable Sims to face each other and for the showering Sim to ask another Sim to join them. Should work for CC shower-tubs, just both Sims will face the taps and the “Ask To Join” option will not be available (but a controllable Sim can still be direct to join).
There are two optional modules with this mod, but I’ll leave the description of those on my web-site :)
After many moons of brooding, it finally dawned on me, why the sofa bed would snap to walls, and I fixed the super duper annoying off grid placement procedure
Look how nicely one part follows the other now!

Unless you're trying to place it through a wall or like heavily intersecting with stairs, but that's not how you'd usually place it
📝 I also gave not so neat sims a chance to fold it autonomously, but made it less attractive at night time

If you're curious, the problem was that global multi-tile placement init function set wall placement flags and those ruined any attempt at precise placement near walls, DUH
Can not believe how easy it's been all along 😭 Sorry it took me so long to make off grid placement actually useable since I first promised it
Spaik's Brick Patio Super Set Repo'd to BB's Niche
Anon request. This set was very similar to BB's Niche, the main texture was even identical, but BB's has way more recolors and add-ons (probably because it was free and T$R stuff used to be paywalled). I ran the set through the Repo Wizard and they now pull textures from BB's Niche. They all work with the quarter tile cheat and are found in the columns categories. Guids and filenames are the same
You may know how sinks get wiped from counters if you put some clutter in their corner slots (usually with moveobjects) and went to Live mode. I fixed that!
