hi there! i finally decided to make an introduction post after god knows how long this blog has been on this website. almost 10 years? gags

anyways hello i'm piper opalgrove, or snappy (they/she) more commonly known. i'm 25 and coming back to my horse girl passions. i'm a writer, dinosaur nerd and dungeon master x)

if i'm not on sso, you can find me playing games like the long dark, genshin impact (and honkai occasionally), many interactive fiction games (wayhaven, throne of ashes and god-cursed some of the favs), visual novels and other misc games.

throwback to when i went to see snakewalker for the first time! he was a handful and didn’t get along with other horses, so he had to be isolated in his own corral, just for the safety of everybody else. i’m working on socializing him with my small herd back home, but i think it’s gonna take some time before he’s good enough to turn out with other horses.

As of late it has seemed like a slew of anonymous asks have been sent around to a number of tumblr users in the SSO community, indirectly attacking one specific person for being a lesbian. I’m just going to reiterate the following.

Jorvik loves all heroes. Jorvik is a magical place where everyone should be able to find acceptance. We are working to make sure to show all kinds of people living in Jorvik, and hope that our community will be able to make Jorvik a second home as well. What is not welcome, is this prejudice displayed against the LGBT+ community.

Seeing the replies from various users in the SSO tumblr community to this, I am happy to see a strong united front standing against this prejudice, one that condemns these attacks against one specific person for who she is. It delights me to see that our Starfam will not allow this hatred to pass unopposed.

If you are a person who are so sincerely bothered by others’ sexuality - something they had no choice in - perhaps you could at least consider keeping that to yourself, and stop attacking one of our wonderful fans.

I wish that this community will continue to be one composed of love and acceptance.
