PIRATE LORD OF THE CARIBBEAN
The anchor heaves, the ship swings free, The sails swell full. To sea, to sea!
I don’t insult people, I describe them.
Unknown (via goldenruless)
❝ but there’s a story behind everything. how a picture got on a wall. how a scar got on your face. sometimes the stories are simple, and sometimes they are hard and heartbreaking. but behind all your stories is always your mother’s story, because hers is where yours begin. ❞
indie hades god of the underworld from greek myth.
I’d be lying if I said losing you is something I can H A N D L E
If you do not turn the sound on you are dumb and we feel bad for you.
i would LOVE to do something with my ‘part of the crew, part of the ship’ (in which jack is captain of the dutchman) or my ‘crewed by the damned’ (in which the mutiny never happened and jack was cursed along with the rest of the bp crew) verses. so, if you’d be interesting in doing something in one of those, hit me up! btw, you can find the descriptions for these verses on my verse page

“i’ll make you a DEAL; i’ll trade you the belligerent homunculus and ‘is one-eyed friend for scrum,” jack offered the freshly-minted captain of queen ann’s revenge, flourishing a hand as if he offered golden platter laden with jewels, instead. “think about it ------- it’s a win-win, mate; you get yer unsavory companions back beneath yer ever-so .... DELIGHTFUL command, freeing me from their less-than-pleasant proximity aboard my ship, ‘an i get a much more congenial lad tha’s at least half-way worth ‘is salt.”

“the ways i see it, i have no STAKES in this revolution of yours ----- no way for me to make any money and lots of ways t’ end up all dead-like ----- so, ’m afraid my answer ‘ll have to be a NO, mate.” the pirate leaned back in his chair, stretching his legs out in front of him and brandishing his empty mug, “i will, ‘owever, allow you to buy me another drink.”
CHARMING MURDERESS
@piratelcrd liked this for a starter
“And I suppose I’m expected to believe you have a plan to get us out of this mess?” Elizabeth asked with a bite to her tone, tugging against the ropes that bound her wrists. They were aboard the Pearl, his own bloody ship for crying out loud!
“Honestly, if you didn’t manage to infuriate EVERYONE who sets eyes upon you, perhaps we’d have fewer near death experiences!”
unlike elizabeth, the captain sat rather sedately, his bound wrists resting comfortably in his lap, even as intelligent chocolate pools remained fixed on the blonde heiress. in any other situation, on any other ship, he might have been searching for an ESCAPE --- a rusty, protruding nail to be used to file down the ropes or a bone splice that could pick the lock; anything and everything that might possibly be of use --- but this was the pearl. there wasn’t an INCH of his beloved ship that he wasn’t intimately familiar with. already, an escape plan was taking shape and, with it, the means of returning his ship to his command --- where she belonged.
at swann’s comment, however, the pirate flashed his trademark golden grin, purring softly under his breath. “No worries, Lizzie Luv --- ‘v got the situation WELL in hand.” his gaze broke, eyeing the shifting waves just outside the port hole, then to the next cell, where his crew sat in sullen restraint. yes, it was all coming together. All he had to do was WAIT for the guard to change; until then, they had time to kill. “don’t ye trust me by now, darling?”
TIA DARLING:
“Hm, only when Witty Jack bring sumting interestin’ t’ keep me entertained~” she offers him a wink, “But yuh keep gettin’ away more and more often, yuh make me tink yuh forget t’ pay a visit t’ yuh favorite woman~”
“ah now, luv ------ don’t i ALWAYS bring you pretty things?” the captain swaggered closer, flashing a roguish, golden grin. “pressing business, ‘m afraid. but i’d nev’r forget my FAVORITE WOMAN.”
TIA DARLING:
“Ah, but think it, if yuh were not crazy, yuh would not be welcome in mi home. Only a crazy man venture ‘ere. Crazy be less borin’~”
“now tia ------ you ‘an i both know that’s not true; you’re MUCH too fond of ol’ jack to turn ‘im away.”
┆☠┆ OPEN
“crazy people don’t know they’re crazy. i KNOW i’m crazy, therefore i am NOT crazy ------- in’t that crazy?”
otp: both have a severe case of abandonment issues that they don't discuss and use anger or jokes to avoid talking about them.
me: yes...
otp: hate and annoy each other at every turn and have an overtly antagonistic relationship yet have more in common than they think.
me: niceeeeeee
otp: form a begrudging friendship that they deny to other people while still obviously caring about each other.
me: incredible
otp: fall in mutually beneficial love where they subconsciously help each other become better people just by being together.
me: I WILL FLIP THIS TABLE RIGHT NOW!
okay but -- say what you want about the potc movies, but the score for every single one of them is fan fucking tastic (especially at world’s end tbh, i’m literally in love with the entire score from that movie).

“are you stupid or stupid?”
“anything, just call me, okay?”
“bitch better have my money.”

“but did you do it?”
“call me now. it’s urgent.”
“can’t you listen to me?”
“cross that. don’t answer that.”
“don’t even think about it.”
“don’t you dare walk away.”
“do it. i dare you.”
“did you think i forgot?”
“eventually… you just move on.”
“even if you still do.”
“everything will fall into place.”
“fight me, you attractive stranger.”
“for once, i need you.”
“for once… i was right.”
“for once… i was wrong.”
“forget i even asked you.”

“i haven’t forgot you yet.”
“i can’t be around you.”
“i don’t need you, really.”

“quit it or i’ll bite.”
“quit staring! they’ll notice us!”
“really? do i look stupid?”
“real smooth, tripping over air.”
“rise and shine, sweet thing.”
“rise and fucking shine, motherfucker.”
“seriously? give me a break.”
“so… what are we now?”
“so… did you miss me?”
“so… can we go eat?”
“so… when’s the next flight?”
“so… how did everything go?”
“sometimes, i wish you died.”
“so what? you did it.”
“time passes slower without you.”
“then what do you suggest?”
“the fuck? who are you?”
“then you tell me why.”
“this is not working out.”
“this isn’t what i wanted.”
“this is all a fucking disaster.”
“when did it all happen?”
“who knew you’d be here?”
“why do i even bother?”
“why do i love you?”
“why didn’t you tell me?”
“you’re just… so, so stupid.”
“you can’t be here now.”
“you look like an accident.”
“you really need to go.”
“you know who to call.”
“zero fucks given. next please.”
