lines i think are pretty brocedes for this one: you don’t have to tell no one cause no one wants to know (nico to lewis), your time is almost over (don’t be mean) lewis to nico, because this to me is 2016 brocedes and nicos time was very much almost over)

this can be read one of two ways for me: either good ol 2015 nico/lewis internalized homophobia + repression; the aforementioned homophobia and repression are getting to them, they can’t really continue having their Thinf anymore. nico is a married man with children and lewis is getting more popular it’s just not a good idea/attainable. like this is way more than a teenage fling atp it’s been going on for >10 years this isn’t just a kiss the homies cute moment
