I'm glad the facial expressions are coming across accurately! It can feel so absurd to say gosh I hope the torment maze removes some fire and rusty nails soon, but alas, sometimes that's all one can do.

The situation of women in Afghanistan is getting worse every day. They have been legally banned from speaking in public, studying, and attending university.

This is not living — it is survival. What is happening there is a powerful reminder that having rights today does not guarantee that you will still have them tomorrow. Yet many people are unaware of what is happening, or simply choose not to talk about it.

These are women and girls suffering under a system that strips away their freedom, their education, and their voices. We must use our own voices to raise awareness and support them in any way we can.

Thinking about it honestly makes me sick. No one should have to live like this.
