RECLAIMING MY TIME
This. Is. Drag.
So earlier today I got the best POTG of my life
Artist Resource: Bodies in Motion
I came across this site that (if you subscribe) offers high-res frame by frame photos of people jumping, flipping, kicking, dancing, etc, so you can easily analyze each position the body goes through to complete each movement. I think this can be an excellent resource for gesture drawing and reference for all manner of artmaking. It is $49 a year for the basic plan, and that gets you access to the high-res photos and a few other features.

Reblogging because I’ve been doing gesture studies from some of the photosets on this site (doing one sketch per frame within the set) and I feel like it’s really going to help me get a handle on some things that have always challenged me, like visualizing the different angles of the wrist, the actual geometric structure of the hips and how the legs connect into the body, the shape and structure of the forearm at different rotations, etc. I think it is really helpful to be able to study how the entire body subtlety shifts throughout an entire range of motion. Good stuff. <3
a fantastic resource for artists and animators alike.
best breeds of meat clown
3. Essexshire polka-stripe
2. Delaware Red-pointed plaid
1. Split jest broiler
but are split jest broilers really worth it? yeah, they put on weight quickly and reach market weight a long time before the other breeds listed, but theyre so unhealthy!!! if you let them live past the butcher date they start to develop bone and heart issues because theyve literally been bred to keep growing
i dont know about you guys but im willing to sacrifice a bit more feed and space so i have clowns who can actually clown. i want to see them honking, roosting in their clown car, and making balloon animals, not just laying around and getting fat
quick question what the actual fuck

Rather than drawing your character standing there doing nothing over and over again, here’s 100 other ideas to put them in action and challenge yourself as an artist.
ppl have been asking for videos of rio so have this delightful video of me blowing on him
The most advanced Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition (D&D 5e) character builder/generator in the multiverse.
Have all you Dungeon and Dragon players heard of Orc Pub? It allows you to easily and freely create a DND character.
It informs you about each race, here you can see I’m remaking my Aasimar from a new game.
It can calculate all of your abilities for you if that’s something you have trouble with. I certainly have a hard time. Or if you’re super awesome and can do it by yourself there is a manual way to do it!
Basically it just helps you go step by step figure out what feats you might want, what alignment you might want, what comes items (weapons, armor, and gold etc) come with your character’s background and class.
Did I mention its FREE?
Right now there is a kickstarter to help make a mobile app, but right now I can easily transfer this info onto my character sheet!
I have a feeling this will become iconic in due time.
I’ve watched this for like a dozen loops and I still crack up every time

THIS IS AN INTERESTING WAY TO PROMOTE A SUIT
I, for one, am delighted that “guy in sharp suit with hot women draped all over him” is being replaced by “guy in sharp suit with hot robots draped all over him”. Clearly much more tailored (hee!) to the discerning modern consumer of haberdashery.
no idea what’s happening here, but I approve
The thing is tho, it’s not ‘hot robot draped over dude’ It’s ‘hot dude draped over robot’
Fuck yes it is. That’s the way to sell a fine piece of hardware to me, dammit.
the bed in the back tho …
