the disrespect cc’s like foolish, ponk, sam, bad, etc. get when it comes to dsmp lore is ridiculous. the people who say there’s been no good lore lately or that lore is dead clearly only watch cc’s like wilbur & tommy. there are other dsmp members besides them and they put so much time and effort into their lore and don’t deserve to be so easily brushed aside and ignored. i’m not trying to dictate who you watch, but if it’s only wilbur, tommy, etc. then you don’t get to make “unpopular opinion” posts about the entire server as a whole when you only look at one or two streamers

i have so much c!beeduo angst in my heart right now and i’m making it everyone else’s problem. so! tubbo knows that the only way to get ranboo back is through dream, the one with the revival book. and he hates the idea of having to crawl back to the person who he once thought was friend, the person who manipulated him and abused his best friend and spread a plague throughout their home that rotted away anything it touched. but what other choice does he have? so tubbo goes to ranboo’s vault and gathers a ton of the valuables his husband has collected in the chests. he sends a note to the masked man, requesting that they meet for a trade: dreams revives ranboo and in return tubbo will give him a bunch of totems, golden apples, diamonds, etc. tubbo hates having to beg, but he needs ranboo. he can’t go through life without him. and besides, dream just go out of prison. wouldn’t the extra resources help?

and who knows, maybe dream says yes. maybe he agrees to meet tubbo and they go through with the deal. tubbo gets ranboo back and for awhile things are good again. but then tommy, ranboo, and tubbo fight dream and they get the upper hand, but just before they can take dream’s final life, a totem appears in his hand and he’s back again. and dream laughs, a cold and maniacal sound, and looks at tubbo with a grin and says “that was one of yours”. ranboo and tommy are confused but tubbo just aches because maybe that could have been their chance to end this and dream explains all too cheerfully what he meant and suddenly tubbo’s husband and best friend are looking at him in rage, likes they don’t know who he is, and there’s yelling and screaming. dream sneaks away and tubbo can’t breathe, can’t find it in him to try and defend himself, not with the way ranboo looks so disappointed, but he doesn’t understand, how could he, he wasn’t the one to be left behind, why is it always tubbo that’s left behind-

or maybe dream says no and tubbo is left surrounded by riches so great they seem infinite. riches that some people only ever dream of achieving. riches that he’d joked about stealing time and time again with ranboo and teased that they were reason why tubbo had agreed to get married. riches that, in the end, ended up being worth absolutely nothing

hey so uh ya think that since tommy came back from the dead part of tubbo is hoping that the same will happen with ranboo and that’s why he’s in denial? and even though he knows that ranboo doesn’t mean the same to dream as tommy does, he spends every night slightly praying that he’ll get his husband back. weeks pass and he refuses to acknowledge ghostboo and mentally tubbo still makes plans for the future that would only work for two ppl, not one, and constantly checks that everything he has is enough for double and when he does move out of snowchester (bc even his denial isn’t strong enough to hold the weight of his heart when he’s there) he builds a bed big enough for two people and has a set of empty chests in one corner that tubbo doesn’t let anyone else use because they’re not for them, they’re for his other half in case he needs to clear out his inventory or wants to leave something behind and he faces an empty chair on the other side of the dinner table whenever he sits down to eat, a chair that collects dust faster than should be possible so tubbo is constantly having to clean it because when ranboo comes back he definitely doesn’t wanna sit in dust it would get his suit dirty and-

tubbo is in denial. so of course the bee and boo hotel will eventually get finished. of course michael won’t grow up with only one of his dads. of course tubbo’s heart will remain whole, old cracks and breaks continuing to heal with the added help of the one person who makes tubbo feel most alive. of course he’ll get to look at his platonic soulmate every day and smile, knowing that they’re safe together and that nothing could ever possibly tear them or their love apart.

me: i think i’m slowly loosing interest in the dream smp since there’s not much new content from the streamers i usually watch :(

a week later: *c!dream breaks out of jail, c!ranboo fucking dies, leaving c!tubbo behind with a missing son, c!dream and c!sapnap talk for the first time since c!sapnap visited him in jail, C!DREAM GOING TO PRISON WAS PLANNED AND C!PUNZ IS STILL ON HIS SIDE, AND THERES MORE*

anyway, i can’t wait for the next c!prime boys stream, cc!dream and cc!tommy act so well together and bounce off of one another so effortlessly.

like, cc!dream obviously has so much fun playing the villain, all his little “hey tommy” and “oh! oh! oh!” as he cut off c!tommy in the chase, and cc!tommy ended the stream by saying how much he’d enjoyed coming back to acting.

their lore is great, but it works so well because they work so well

they do! they never break the immersion (unless there’s an accidental blooper) and they always give it their all. and they know their own characters and each others’ character so well that their improv always hits the mark

i’d write something proper about this but i’m too lazy rn so have this instead: c!punz & c!tubbo. they were was a time when they were decently close right? remember Squeeks, the pet fox that punz got for tubbo? well, after c!punz “saves” c!clingyduo, he and tubbo begin to get close again. tubbo trusts him because without punz, dream would have killed him and taken tommy. punz “betrayed” dream for them. their friendship grows and punz just listens as tubbo thanks him again and again for what he did. he takes tubbo’s trust, stores it away for later, and gives back a decaying, broken version of his own “trust” that’s really just a bunch of sugarcoated lies. c!punz becomes like a brother to c!tubbo, all instead while still holding his alliance to c!dream and just waiting for him to break out from prison. once he does, not only does punz willingly give all the information to dream that tubbo entrusted to him, but he continues to lie to tubbo, saying that he’ll protect him from dream and that he’ll have his back like he did before.

imagine what would happen when tubbo finds out that punz has been playing them since the beginning. imagine the angst potential. tubbo goes and tries to find punz for comfort because his husband is dead, his child is missing, his best friend is spiraling, and he doesn’t have anyone else, but when tubbo does finds punz, dream, the man who has made his and his loved one’s lives a living hell, is standing by his side, smiling. punz tells tubbo the truth then, and tubbo breaks down because this is at least the third time he’s let someone into his life that he thought he could trust only for them to have been playing him the entire time (ex. wilbur during l’manburg era & dream when tubbo was president). all of the people that took on the role of his “big brother” either left him or betrayed him. c!tubbo genuinely has nothing now.

watching mcc 18 from tubbo’s pov was so funny because i’d be super focused on what tubbo was doing and then i’d look at the camera in the corner and see aimsey and bill huddled together and giggling and wonder what the heck they were doing

i tell myself each mcc that i should try and branch out who i watch but it’s literally just tubbo every time (especially bc he’s on a team with sapnap again). might switch between punz and sam’s too :) all the teams are cracked tho i love them
