I had decided to distance myself from the Gachiakuta fandom because of all the Twitter bullshit relayed on r/Gachiakuta, but rn I saw that Urana has been harassed out of Twitter, the harassers may be going for her on IG and now Andou is also getting harassed on Twitter as well for defending her.

I know why it started, and not being comfortable with that video is totally legitimate imo (and no I won't pull the "oh but Urana is Japanese so she doesn't know any better", because it's 2026 and Urana is an adult, it's easy to get informations about what could amount to racist content, even though it may not have been her intention).

Where I draw the line is the cyberbullying. Who the fuck do some of y'all think you are, playing vigilante instead of just disengaging with the content/author that made you uncomfortable? Is this really how some of y'all want to live and be known as (because the screenshots of the harassers are currently circulating uncensored on Reddit, the usernames are on full blast)?
