posting fanart versus posting oc/sona art: the difference is insaaaaaane because if people are just scrolling through the fandom tag they'll find your fanart and give it a like and maybe a cheeky reblog but!!!!! the stars must align and the time must be perfect for oc stuff to be noticed

this post was prompted by me looking in my notifications and seeing old fanart still getting notes (<- and those posts still dont have much going on) while my shiny new sona stuff that i really like has nothing going on ever
