Oh my gosh I am so sorry taking so long to answer this, tumblr ate the ask-
But yes! There are Fossil Pokemon! The Slate Region has two. They can be revived from the Band and the Saber Fossils!
The Band Fossil was originally discovered in the colder areas of the region, with ice crystals lodged in the Fossil itself.
The Saber Fossil was originally discovered in some of the forested areas, which have been believed to be plains in the past, and no modern material can seem to damage the tooth.
Can't have a regional Seviper, without a regional Zangoose, now can ya? >:)

The Foul Claw Pokemon
Slationian Form
Angered souls of those swindled by the silver tounged serpent. They ceaselessly scoure the land for the ones that tricked them, and will savagely rip them to shreds. Only then will it rest.

The Blade Claw Pokemon
They weild their claws as expertly as any master swordsman. There is legend of how one slayed an eight headed beast that was tricking even the gods themselves. The silver tounged serpent fears this Pokemon's approach.
A serpent of silver tounge, that always has it's fun.

There is myth that should you see one curled up asleep in a mushroom ring, do not approach it, do not touch it and most of all do not wake it. Lest it shall use its silver tounge to make deals you cannot give up, and take everything you hold dear.

The Fae Moon Pokemon
They travel in groups, following the course of the moon. They make deals with people and pokemon alike, giving them their hearts desires and taking the things they cherish the most away as payment. Their two heads always offer different sounding deals, but they each have the same price, no matter what choice you pick.

Eight heads, each speaking false prophecies and offering saccharine words. All believe they are truly unbeatable, for no one can ignore the trades they offer. There is legend of a truly massive beast, were not even the gods could withhold from their silver words, that is until a powerful swordsman made the beast drunk on power and slain it with a eight powerful blows.

The Dolly Pokemon
Their soft huggable bodies, coupled with the fact they eat bad dreams and nightmares, make them for perfect companions to young children. It is said the first one was made from cloth, stuffing and beads. The child's love for their doll then brought it to life.

They protect the children in their care with extreme ferocity. It's not uncommon to see a child holding the soft hand of this Pokemon as they walk down the street. They are often seen helping out in daycares, letting all kinds of little ones swing their puffy limbs around.

The Rover Pokemon
Rescue teams employ this Pokemon to help find missing persons because of how efficient they are at finding people lost in dangerous areas. They lead people to safety, and will protect them until they reach their destination.
When looking at the map of the Slate Region, one might be wondering, 'Where is Sedimuntus City?'
Why, it's underground of course!
The entirety of the City is located underground, with transport tunnels leading to Topsoil Town, the Battle Bazaar, and to Flurra Town! However, due to recent, complications, the Flurra Access Tunnel has been shut down due to saftey concerns.
Other then that, Sedimuntus is as safe as it can be! It's known for being a great place to battle via the Gym, relaxing in the underground hot springs, and find precious stones! Even capturing some Pokemon deep below the earth's surface!
Will you make your next trip to Sedimuntus City, and see what you can see?
Meet the fourth Gym Leader of the Slate Region, a rock type specialist, Iggy! He's held his job as Gym leader for well over 85 years, and before that helped with the underground expansion of Sedimuntus City! He gives the Morphic Badge to trainers that are able to beat him!
His partner Pokemon are Boldore, Kleavor and Hisuian Arcanine! To trainers that have taken the league, he'll also have Dolblim, Foraptor and a Golem!
Iggy would fight tooth and nail for his family, better watch out when he starts swinging his pickaxe, cus its not for show! His grandson, Terrence the Ground type Gym Leader, knows that to Iggy, it doesn't matter the distance between him and a foe, he'll close that space in an instant and strike hard!

They live in clusters on the sea floor. They have symbiosis with another Pokemon, for they provide shelter and protection for in return of food and cleaning.

They care deeply for the Pokemon they live in harmony with. Should a predator come near, they'll poison them with thousands of microscopic spikes on their tentacles.
An omen many a folk hope to see never leave, for danger is its reprieve.

They are the souls of lost Sailors reborn. A journey is considered blessed when they fly alongside the ship, but be wary when they fade into the ether. For what killed them lurks nearby.

Hundreds of years ago, these Pokemon were created by a human. The original reason is lost to time. Many belive that they were made for one simple reason, a lonely human seeking friendship.

Massive gental giants that wander the landscape. They call to eachother with soft bellows, and love playing with children. There is a legend that the reason they wander is that they're seeking the resting place of their late creator.

Pray for the Herald, Pray for the Fire. Do not attract its Ire.
Judgement shall be cast faster then a fool can breath their last.

Small jovial Pokemon that are enamored by the night sky. Despite not being able to leave their lakes and rivers for long, they spent every second they can watching the night sky before they dry out. You can tell there's going to be a metor shower when a whole school of them gather at the waters edge excitedly.

It's outer slime layer has hardened to be as strong as Steel. Now able to stay out of water for months at a time before they need to rehydrate, they often practice levitation via magnetism to get closer to the stars they love so much.
Lumiaco

Powerful Pokemon that soar high in the heavens, watching and reading the stars. They are gentle with children, and happily point out constellations to any eager child on their back. They would gladly help lost travelers make their back to civilization, using the cosmos as their guides.

The Silver Sapper Pokemon
These pokemon are often seen trailing behind electric type Pokemon, absorbing the ambient electricity in the air. If in a dire enough situation, it will absorb the electricity from the attackers nervous system to gain a chance to escape.

The Static Fluff Pokemon
Their fur is charged with static electricity. If threatened it can release a jolt of electricity so powerful it can knock out a Druddigon. It is not uncommon to see swarms of them dancing between bolts of lighting during storms.
Meet the third Gym Leader of the Slate Region, Terrence! He's a ground type specialist from Topsoil Town! The entire town if focused on farming, with Terrence always willing to lend a hand! The badge he offers is the Till Badge!
His Pokemon partners are Gabite, Speller and Gastrodon!! However, for a skilled trainer that wishes to face him, he'll also have an Ursaluna, Golurk and Teraeon!
When a Trainer beats his gym, they'll get access to the Ride Pokemon, Lumiaco! The pokemon will carry you across water to your destination!
