What is pkmnpollotd?
Pokemon Poll of the Day is a highly scientific experiment to settle once and for all: Tumblr, Who is the best Pokemon Trainer? This polling is not based on skill mind you, but overall popularity in the fandom spaces on Tumblr. The goal is to make sure every character gets into a poll. However I plan on doing some mini polls to help me with decisions like "Should Ingo be polled twice as Warden and Battle Facility Boss" and "Are Maxie and Archie different enough from ORAS Maxie and Archie to get polled twice?". [However Paldea shall not be included as I have not personally finished Gen 9 yet and it still seems a little too new. I don't wish to exclude people avoiding spoilers]
Why though?
I'm hyperfixating and am tired of seeing Pokemon characters lose every poll they're in. So I created a poll where a Pokemon character has to win lmao. Also it's fun.
How does it work?
Over the course of however long it takes we will go through brackets of trainers based on their trainer class (Protagonist, Battle Facility Boss, Gym Trainer, Champion, etc.) Once all these brackets are complete, the winner of each one will be put into one final bracket to determine once and for all, Tumblr, Who is the best Pokemon Trainer?
Each Round of each bracket will have 24 hours to be voted on, and the winners shall be announced the next day, rinse and repeat the cycle continues.
