[A VIDEO. The screen appears smokey and hard to see. Barely, you can make out Kaita’s face, which is covered in soot and ash. She seems to be on the ground. She looks exhausted and hurt.

“Hey there. If anybody finds this… I don’t think I’m gonna make it. I ran too close into the fire trying to save some Pokemon. They made it out but…now I’m trapped. I’m sorry.”

Her eyes are filled with tears. She coughs violently. The camera droops a little, as if her arm is getting weaker.

“I can’t, I didn’t…do everything I want to. I…my family-Blake- I’m sorry. I love you. My friends- Keith, Rhythmi, Silver, Ethan, my team- I love you and-

She coughs again. It seems hard for her to speak.

“I don’t know…how to say goodbye, I-“

“BUN!”

Suddenly, Kaita’s eyes shoot up, and the camera is set down.

“Buneary? How did you…?”

“Bun bun!”

“You…came to save me…?”

“Ree!”

“Y-you have to get out of here…you c-can’t…”

“Bun bun!”

“A….way out?”

“Bun!”

“But I…have to… save the Pokemon. We have to put the fire out….can’t leave yet….”

“Bun…bun…!”

“A blastoise? What does that….?”

“Bun!”

“Can you…can you take me to it?”

Kaita: I-I can’t let what happened to my last Pokemon happen to you.

Kaita: I’m a terrible trainer, Buneary. And this job… it’s too dangerous. I won’t let any more pokemon get hurt….So no, you cannot be my partner.

Buneary: Bun-!

Suddenly, you can hear the sound of an alarm going off. A button is pressed, and a voice crackles over the styler.

Voice: Calling all Rangers! The Vien Forrest is on fire! I repeat, the Vien Forrest is on fire! All rangers, report to north Vien Town immediately!

Kaita: I’m sorry, I have to go-

Buneary: Bun!

There is a current massive fire raging in the forest north of Vientown in Almia. All citizens are required to evacuate the town. Rangers and firefighters are working to stop the ongoing fire and save any Pokémon inside.
