@planitia
There was nothing I could do about it. As an Earthling, I had to believe whatever clocks said.

[internal dialogue] “What the- that guy’s got horns! That’s not normal. Well, not gonna ruin my day.”

If all the jews and oppressed people in Nazi Germany had guns it may have postponed (not prevented, just postponed) the holocaust. I'm a hardcore 2nd amendment supporter and even I know that saying "holocaust could have been prevented by jews with guns" is a terrible argument for gun rights. All that shows is how poor the person knows about history.
yeah while i don’t have an opinion on the second amendment, i agree that the argument is a moot point since the nazi’s had more weapons than just guns and outnumbed the jews, so having/not having guns wouldn’t have made a much of a difference.

The key thing to remember is that even if all the jews in europe were armed, Nazi Germany instituted anti-semetic laws. They purposefully and literally disarmed the Jewish population. If anything, that's a reason to have something like the second amendment, hell, inalienable rights in general. Still, like real life has proved time an' again, the real problem is the extreme, on any side.
but that’s just the tip of the yikesburg
