fuck i've managed to manipulate people into thinking i'm kind and good, i'm the worst person to ever walk the earth
i'm so stressed with moving but it would be FINE if people didn't exist
some pages from my 2024 zine 'neurodivergent pop-ups'
fatigue is NOT getting tired from normal things . fatigue is "oh no i just stood up and it feels like i ran a marathon." . when even the most basic tasks like standing and sitting send your body into overdrive . i wish more people understood this.
sometimes when chronically ill/disabled/neurodivergent people say “I can’t do this thing” they really mean “I can technically do this thing I guess, but not without pretty significant repercussions” and I really need more fully-abled people to understand the validity of that
sometimes I forget standing up isn’t painful and difficult for most people so I’ll be watching something like game changer and see the people standing behind their podiums the whole episode and think ‘wow don’t they need to sit down. how can they still think coherent thoughts’ and then I’m like oh. yeah. I have a disease
been thinking a lot about being butch recently and how i feel about not wanting to or simply not being capable of fitting the stereotypical butch mould
specifically in the context of disability - my chronic illness might be mild but that's bc it's managed. if i add extra to it, it's a guaranteed crash and i just can't afford that. i can't bulk up right now bc of exercise intolerance and fatigue - i need energy and support to build up a realistic workout routine and i don't have an abundance of that. i can't be super present in the community bc of distance and, again, fatigue. honestly most of it comes back to fatigue. the reason i'm generally ok is bc i've spent months figuring out how to live with it, and i'm already about to go through a major change. i'm for sure not where i want to be with my butch journey, but it feels like a lot of it relies on being abled, otherwise you're just not butch enough

sometimes it's less like there's masculine and feminine things and gender neutral things, it's more like. there's gendered things and there's ungendered things. masculine things are ungendered feminine things are gendered. masculinity is the default and femininity is the abberation, the Gendered Experience. pants are for everyone skirts are for girls. suits are for everyone dresses are for women. you know
might i be a dyke ☝️ and add that i feel this with butchness and masculinity? i am masculine but would describe myself to others as androgynous bc that's how i'm perceived, even in queer spaces. i just happen to wear crop tops and fitted clothing sometimes. i'm still non-binary, i'm still masc, i'm still butch. i just have my own version of masculinity bc i dont think my clothes should have to be purely men's to be masculine. they're masc bc i'm wearing them. is that not what being butch or, more broadly, queer is about? my masculinity is not cis-male masculinity. it's mine, i own it, and i decide what makes me feel masc SEPARATE from traditional gendering
What if we had this weird fucked up BDSM concept Where im me and people are Nice to me
When someone ignores me and saying “oh so you hate me and want me to die” apparently isn’t funny so I actually just walk into oncoming traffic
Push on my bruises as a bonding activity
having to eat food and take showers is ruining my life
missing my femme so i'm pressing on the bruise she left from when i provoked her enough to bite me back :)
femmes that like to bite >>>
