Var. Peace Lily Care

scientific name: Spathiphyllum Domino

light: this plant can acclimate to a wide range of lighting conditions! moderate to bright indirect light is ideal. however, plants that have more variegation will need more light. direct light will burn the delicate leaves!

water: you’ll know when it’s thirsty! the leaves will begin to droop. i water mine 3-4 times a week in the summer.

soil: this plant will be happy in most potting soils but i find a chunky well draining mix works best

humidity: high humidity isn’t completely necessary but will help new leaves unfurl and promote new growth!

Monstera Mini Care

Scientific name: Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma

light: for ideal growth keep this plant in bright indirect sunlight. do not allow too much direct light or the leaves may burn! it will be happy in most windows but will grow quickest in a south facing window

water: water when the top 30% of the soil is dry or the leaves start to droop. they will also feel thinner/lighter when the plant is thirsty

soil: make your your soil drains when the plant is watered. this plant prefers a chunky well aerated soil with additives like orchid bark, chunky perlite, and horticultural charcoal

humidity: being a tropical plant, this guy will thrive in high humidity (50%+) but it isn’t necessary for survival

Alocasia Zebrina Care

scientific name: Alocasia Zebrina

light: this plant will be happiest in bright indirect light, however direct light may burn its leaves. you should regularly rotate this plant to ensure it gets even sun and to strengthen its stems!

water: this plant will thrive in slightly damp soil. water it when the surface appears dry and ensure all excess water drains out to avoid root rot.

soil: a chunky well draining soil mix will be best to help this plant maintain moisture at its roots without becoming waterlogged. a good soil mix will contain orchid bark, perlite/vermiticule, and/or horticulture charcoal make. sure your soil mix drains out excess water and you should be successful!

humidity: this plant thrives best in a humid environment (at least 50%), this plant can definitely benefit from regular misting. the alocasia zebrina is tropical so the more humidity the better in most cases!

Peperomia Ruby Cascade Care:

Scientific name: Peperomia Rotundifolia

light: this plant requires bright indirect sunlight. when it gets lots of light it produces beautiful variegation!

water: let the soil dry out almost completely before watering. this plant has tiny roots and they are easily susceptible to root rot. don’t let the soil stay completely dry for too long or the leaves will start to curl up.

soil: a cococoir based soil is best for this type of plant

temperature/humidity: grows well in regular room conditions (60-80 degrees fahrenheit) but appreciates extra humidity to keep its leaves nice and plump

Small-Leaf Spiderwort Care

scientific name: Tradescantia Fluminensis Variegata

light: these plants enjoy bright indirect light! if they don’t get enough light you may notice the leaves beginning to look dull, and the leaves closest to the soil dying off. direct sun, or too much sun will burn the leaves!

water: these guys love moisture! keep this plant evenly moist. to achieve this, once you figure out a watering schedule that works for this plant try and stick it. ensure the plant has adequate drainage and doesn’t sit in water or you will be at risk of root rot!

soil: these guys aren’t particularly picky about their soil. while they need adequate drainage to avoid root rot, they appreciate a moisture retaining soil. consider mixing a cococoir/peat substitute into your potting soil!

temperature/humidity: they thrive in typical indoor temperatures (60-80 degrees Fahrenheit). they love humidity, do this plant will appreciate a regular misting. if you notice the tips browning, it may need a humidity increase!

Golden Pothos Care

Scientific name: Epipremnum aureum

light: this plant can tolerate a high range of light conditions, as it will be able to live in darker corners of your house. if you place it in bright indirect light it will grow more, and produce bigger leaves with more variegation.

water: i usually water these once or twice a week. the amount of water it needs will depend on how much light it receives. generally, if a plant receives more light it will need more water!

soil: this plant will do well in a wide range of soils as long as they are well draining. it appreciates a soil that’s rich in organic matter like compost.

humidity/temperature: while these guys will do well in average room conditions, they’re tropical plants so they really love humidity and will thrive in an environment with increased humidity.
