i feel like most folks forgot about that weird era where dead-alivebur was a thing? maybe not? but there was a little headcanon i had where when schlatt and wilbur died, since their ghost forms were sent to the living world, their “souls” or dead selves remained in limbo. a form that is stuck between “dead” and “alive”, but is neither. a form that only shows when a soul is inside the afterlife.

their ghosts and their living bodies are completely separate entities. i love to think when their living forms were pulled in limbo, they have these grayscale, husk-like appearances. their limbo-sonas or smth lolz… i dont draw him enough, but say hi to voidbur once again. :} .. and voidschlatt?? schloid??????? schlimbo?!?!?!?!?

Boundless Sands

I really struggled with this one. didn‘t know how to combine the line style of the background with the semi realistic foreground and kinda gave up on the lillies on the right side, haha. It adds flowiness this way, but idk if i‘m truly satisfied with them. My solution for combining the two styles was mainly adding more texture to the realistic parts, like screentones on the lillies, but what really pulled it together was the stark shadows behind the flowers. Its a good transition between the two elements i think.

Spoon stole my post but I was wanting to rant about how great Wilbur's stream titles are for all of his RP stuff.

Smithereens. Meet the latest resurrected gentleman of L'manburg. Bust. Into Pogtopia. Like, man made the name of the stream part of the story and I respect that rather than titling shit "LORE!!! TUNE IN TO DSMP LORE!!! WE'RE DOING LORE!"

That's dead on what it's like. Each stream is a chapter in the story and you get something from that title.

Like, phrasing it "Into Pogtopia" and then it having that stellar "I was very sad" line? Examining Fundy's mental state as a comparison to Wilbur's spiral and everything involved in that was such a clever way to address the mental health issues of that era.

Or even little details and clues. Like having the same stream where his character said he didn't care about L'Manberg ALSO have the title of the stream say c!Wilbur was "of L'Manberg."

Wilbur, whether it's songs or chapters in a story, has a way with titles.
