When people ask me what i’m writing
From your latest post I'm going to guess that you're the Dirk that was once my partner?
Hal.
Yes. I am- was.
You don’t know who I am, who I was to you. But I’ll listen. Go ahead.
Actually, I can say that I've got a pretty good idea of what you meant to me before I got my core reset. And this leads into a small story that I think is important for you to know. A week or two ago your father and I went to your house so I could reach old memories that weren't deleted fully, sounds strange right? Well, while looking around I came across this "Supernatural" case that contained a picture of you and I, we were really close to eachother but I'm not too sure as to what we were doing.
Spark anything at all?

From your latest post I'm going to guess that you're the Dirk that was once my partner?
Hal.
Yes. I am- was.
I'm glad that I'm finally able to speak with you. I've been looking for this Dirk person for a while now and I wasn't too sure of where to look, but it looks like that job was easier than I thought.
I'm going to do it, I'm going to rewatch Supernatural.
Your eyes go a little wide upon seeing the photo. It was nothing you had ever seen before. Showing the two in a position that suggested so many things. They had been closer than originally assumed but there was no way Dirk could have hidden the picture. This was from… your eyes went impossibly wide, knowing exactly who had taken and hidden the picture. Scratch.
"This was me and Dirk?.." Hal swallowed down hard as he examined every detail he could in the picture, this was a relationship they once shared but now it was nothing more than a thing of the past, and that was sad. To think they were so close and now they're complete strangers. Hal clutches the piece of thick paper in his hand, eventually handing it over to Dave. "Would you like to see?"
With a shrug you come over, looking down at the case with Hal. This was just that show you never watched but knew that Hal and Dirk loved to view. Well, Hal and Scratch loved to watch it together anyway. Curious why it would get left on the worktable of all things. Seemed like something Dirk would have kept out of the way. “Yeah, you guys totally dug the hell out of that show.”
Hal raises his brow and opens up the case to view it's contents, and to his shock a photograph is covering the disk. The photograph was still in good condition so it had to be new, in the picture was himself and Dirk, they seemed to be laying down by the looks of how they were positioned. Their facial expressions looking..rather suggestive. Something in his memory sparks and a small clip of that moment is played in his head like a film, maybe this was something that wasn't deleted.
You watch as Hal pulls away, the android stumbling a little. Attempting to right himself without falling over. He did well enough so you didn’t have to step in and save him before he ended up hurt. Good. With a careful lean against the door way you shoo him off, trying to coax him to look about the room.
Everything seems to be alright for now, Hal managed to get good balance and good control over his body, or at least-- somewhat good. There were minor problems but they were quickly solved as he began to make his way over to Dirk's desk that was covered with various robot parts, finding this to be the most eye catching thing so far. Nothing looked out of place, but due to his nosiness he decides to dig a little deeper, literally. Upon digging he pulls out a case that seemed to be from a Television show, the front cover having two males standing in front of a nice black car. "Supernatural?
Hal presses himself close to your body, probably out of worry. Let him, it doesn’t make a difference because you both make it to the bedroom safe. Inside is as disorderly as ever. Only clothes aren’t everywhere for once, confined to a neat pile by the bed. “Say hello. This is your fine ass boyfriends pad.”
"Hello, my fine ass boyfriend's pad." A small smirk appears on Hal's face as he looks around Dirk's room, his shades giving off a soft glow as they save the appearance of the room to Hal's memory. He squirms a little before hopping out of Dave's arms, almost not making it into his feet when he lands. "Damn, I really need to figure out how to control these things."
The android seems to have very little motor control available for the task set out for him, of this you realize that help will need to be offered. Wrapping one arm around Hal’s waist you let his arm drape over your shoulders, bringing him up the stairs with the ease of someone who had walked all his life. Which made sense based on the fact that you had been alive for nearly thirty-seven years, walking for almost the same number of years too.
The fact that he was now being carried made him even more nervous than it would've if he was still on his own feet, Hal wasn't used to contact or even heights even though they weren't big ones. To make sure that he had security he lingered himself to the older male, not wanting to be dropped on the stairs. "Please be careful."
He had to feel some amount of pity over the android trying to walk. Just one more thing to compound the fact that this was not just an overly cruel joke. There really was nothing left in Hal that remembered anything that had happened. Sad. When the android fiddled with the settings and brought up the coordinates he had just come from Dave took Hal by the shoulders. Leading him onto the device. There was the momentary sense of disorientation and then they were in his foyer. Greeted by a very empty house. “Come on, his rooms up those stairs.”
Once they appear in the now empty house he turns himself around to look at the set of stairs that awaited him, as if this couldn't get any worse. With a small sigh and shake of his head he grabs onto the wooden railing and waits a few seconds before trying to step onto the first step, his legs becoming slightly shaky as he tried to carry out the action. "I don't think.. I can do this.."
No. He couldn’t handle this. This. This was so fucked up. Dave couldn’t help but feel as much anger at Hal as he felt pity. Stupid piece of tech got an easy card out and just, wrecked, his son. There was no way he was helping him figure out how to move now. Still, he looked down at the android and sighed. “You need something, plug in our coords on your transportalizer. Should be under boyfriend or something like that. Dirk’s room is the upstairs one.” He was done, that was literally all he could do with this.
Dave was wanting him to go to the transportalizer? Does he realize that he still cannot move without tripping or falling first? May as well try. "Right. I'll see what I can do." Very carefully Hal scoots over to the wall and holds out his arm, using the wall to his right as support so he had something to grab onto, after all his balance wasn't at all good. Now he just needs to move his legs so he can walk over to the machine that was near the doorway, and that shouldn't be /too/ hard. Left...Right...Left, Hal's steps were slow but what did Dave expect out of him? Finally after a few more slow steps he reaches the machine and scrolls through the list of unknown names, coming across one that read "Dirk" with a small heart symbol next to it, this was obviously the correct set. With a turn of knobs and pushing of buttons the transportalizer was ready to go for their own use. "We're all set."
People really enjoyed the other Hal guy, yeah? I've been scanning through my dashboard and I've found at least two conversations where he comes up in the topic. Stuff like "He's gone" or "He's been reset", I don't really know too much about him so I'm afraid I can't give much sympathy.
"Hard not to when Dirk has your location programmed into the damn transportalizer." Dave came over and sat in front of the android. This was definitely not the mess he remembered yesterday. Hal was different now. "What do you remember?”
Hal thought about Dave's question quietly do himself as he sat there with his arms crossed, his red eyes closing to but pictures with recent memories, finding that that would be one of the easiest ways to do it. The only memories he had was of him waking up on his charger with his laptop next to him, a tab or two of Tumblr pulled up already for his use. "Not much."
