Last week we started a new season of [Untitled] SMP, so I'd like to make posts about what I did each week! I mean these will probably be paced out more as time goes on, but for now I'm playing almost every day so, there definitely will be weekly updates!!

I'm SO excited for rp, I've already participated in 3 sessions which is so surprising it doesn't even feel like it LMAO. But yea !!!! I got to rp with some of the new members, it was very fun to have new characters to interact with yau <3 here's to many more !

This huge wealth of knowledge about the server includes server history, lore, character information, and transcript of roleplay on the server! This is a better time than any to get caught up because we have some BIG things coming pretty soon. Ollie has been working so very hard on a secret project that is EXTREMELY cool, and we are so excited to share that with everyone.

Hello listeners, and happy spring! Normally I’ll ramble through the weather and whatnot here, updating you all on the goings on in Verdigris and beyond, but today I have a very special broadcast for you all. I had the honor this week of being invited to Wisteria territory, so that I could come bare witness to the preamble of the election of the century. Last time I made my way to the capital city of Larkspur to buy some froglights and dye for various decorations, I noticed that there were all manner of signs up talking about some sort of election that was supposed to take place within the coming weeks. I asked an old friend of mine from back in the previous world, Flick, what was going on, and he informed me that he and Doc were running against one another to be elected into the position of president of Wisteria.
I knew this would be happening soon, and I was going to mention it on my next broadcast, but as you may have noticed, there was no Wizardly update last week, as I received a notice just a few hours before. A delegation from Wisteria brought me a letter detailing that I had been cordially invited to attend as an unaffiliated press presence. I graciously accepted, as I always love to deliver the goings on to the greater world of Untitled, and I think it’s important to have impartial journalism within this server.
The event was closed to other factions, so it was primarily Wisterians in attendance with the exception of myself. The Voidwalker, who well, I suppose most of you would know as Ollie, acted as the moderator, and asked each participant questions brought up by different faction members. The questions were relatively straightforward, what you’d expect from a nervous populace worried about tensions between factions, the general economy of Wisteria, and uh…looming threats from outside of the bounds of Untitled.
The first candidate is Flick, who, for those of you who haven’t met him, is a young avian fellow who was also brought into the sanctuary of Untitled at a similar time to myself. You might have met him if you’ve bought any moss or dye from Wisteria recently, he’s the proprietor of those stores. He’s mostly running on a platform focusing on communication and good relations between factions, and encouraging tourism to Wisteria as a whole.
The second candidate is Doc, who is a…well I feel like if I called him humanoid that wouldn’t entirely be correct but it’s the best way to describe him I think. He’s a relative newcomer to Untitled, apparently having been here before we even arrived. His platform was a bit more…aggressive, focusing on eliminating threats with deadly precision. There was quite a bit of mention of the use of bioweapons, which, personally I’m not familiar with, but by the way he spoke about them, they seem…concerningly dangerous. Besides that, he had similar conceit to Flick, importance of trade and infrastructure, and strengthening the faction as a whole.
There were some curveball questions I wasn’t expecting, such as “what would you do if you were a frog” and “if you could eat moss, would you”, which candidate Flick was happy to answer. I personally cannot speak to who I think is the stronger candidate, but I will be patiently awaiting the news of who wins.
Alright, impartial journalist hat off. As your friendly neighborhood Wizard, a member of the Corroded faction, I can tell you that there are some tensions rising between some of the folks in Wisteria. Namely that one of the other newer faces we met right after arriving had some issues with Doc during the debate itself. Now I won’t name names, but it will be interesting to see what, if any, conflicts arise within the faction itself. Tensions are stirring, that’s for certain.
Even with my hat off, I won’t be saying which way I’d vote if I was a member of Wisteria, I know that even out here I carry some small amount of sway. Besides, I know both candidates will do a fine job in the role if chosen.
This week, the song playing me off is one my audio archivist showed me the other week. It’s a pretty jazzy tune in my opinion, I like it.
