“Life’s an adventure, so live it up!” by Aulia Rahman
You can’t fly unless you let yourself fall
Crossroads by Belva Plain - Short Review.
The story is beautifully written and gives a beautiful lesson. Jealousy has its own consequences. Rather than spending your life in grumbling about what the other person has, be happy with what you have. Due to jealousy you can neither enjoy your possessions nor can you get what other has.So if seen, jealousy is a waste of time. Jealousy is natural to a human, but we should know how to overcome it. I have written a short review on the book because i don’t find myself capable enough to really take out the flaws and good in this book. For me the story was exceptional providing a blessing of beautiful moral learning.

I don’t know if really the theme of the song is hope, but i really find it as a hope-themed song.
We, we don't have to worry 'bout nothing 'Cause we got the fire, and we're burning one hell of a something They, they gonna see us from outer space, outer space Light it up, like we're the stars of the human race, human race When the light started out they don’t know what they heard Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky 'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn Gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We don't wanna leave, no. We just wanna be right now (right), r-r-right now And what we see is everybody's on the floor acting crazy, getting loco 'til the lights out Music's on, I'm waking up, we fight the fire, then we burn it up And it's over now, we got the love, there's no sleeping now, no sleeping now, no sleeping When the light started out they don’t know what they heard Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky 'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn Gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn When the light started out they don’t know what they heard Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world We gonna let it burn burn burn burn (burn burn) Burn burn burn burn (burn burn) We can light it up, up, up So they can't put it out, out, out We can light it up, up, up So they can't put it out, out, out We can light it up, up, up So they can't put it out, out, out We can light it up, up, up So they can't put it out, out, out When the light started out they don’t know what they heard Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky 'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire And we gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn Gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn We gonna let it burn, burn, burn, burn When the light started out they don’t know what they heard Strike the match, play it loud, giving love to the world We'll be raising our hands, shining up to the sky 'Cause we got the fire, fire, fire Yeah we got the fire, fire, fire And we gonna let it burn

Friendship with humiliation is an undeveloped bond. a weak thread which may break any moment. Friends who humiliate are enemies. People who break the thread

Friendship is when you want expect a hug that takes away all you hardships of the day and automatically leads you to smile.

Smile through all the happy times...let people know you are happy. Smile through all the sad times...let people think you can face the challenge. But if you grumble throughout the happy times...people will leave you behind and if you cry throughout the sad times...people will think you are weak. So stand up and face the day with the ultimate weapon. SMILE

Endless questions, No answers.
Today I am in a good mood. It has been so so so sooooo long since i have actually been in a good mood. Among all the crap goin' on in my life, I hardly get a chance to be in a good mood. I know I am talking like a sick old lady- "Among all the crap goin' on in my life i hardly get time for myself", but no really! My 'good mood' has been trapped in this weird situation where it hardly gets time to come up. I have that uncanny smile on my face and i think this is because i have found someone like me. No boyfriend, crush or not even friend. Probably, no real human but a fictional human. Her name is Gwendolyn Wright from Belva Plain's Crossroads (a novel). I am just reading it and will soon be writing a review on the book once i finish reading it, but honestly, I really find Gwen like me. A person whom no one understands. Who has all those questions in her mind which people find queer. And she is surrounded by all those people who call her an odd-duck.
How strange is this no? Nobody is there to answer the strange questions which come up in the mind of a person. Who can answer what happens to a person after death? well yeah, I know what you've got. He goes to heaven if he is good and hell if he is bad. But then doesn't he take a rebirth? Yes he does. Obviously he does. And people say that the moment a person dies he is reborn in the form of another person. Well yeah. Then does he have time to go to hell and heaven? Confusing no? Something to think upon.
Answer this. What is life? Is life the ability to live? Then what is this "to live"? To live...probably to survive by inhaling and exhaling air. Well then is life only about surviving? Only about inhaling and exhaling air? Well, let me end these series of question here itself.
well why can't a soul travel from one body to another? Why does it stay inside one body only? Why can't we experience what the other person is thinking or what the other person is going through? What happens to the soul after death? Does it just fly away? They say that the soul remains immortal? How does it remain immortal? Does it enter another body? Then what happens to the original soul of the body?
Endless questions with no answers. Or maybe they are answers?

The Silent Girl By Tess Gerritsen - Review
Its Gory. Its Gripping. Its GERRITSEN.
With her mighty magic sword in her hand, Tess Gerritsen has once again proved herself to be one of the best crime writer. Using her knowledge of the Asian heritage, she has made a book which is sure to impress anyone and has proved that honestly, the fictional members of the Boston Homicide Unit (which includes Jane Rizzoli, Barry Frost, Maura Isles etc.) are the best crime solvers. A perfect story is one which keeps at the edge of your seats. Well gerritsen has proved The Silent Girl to be a great story. People should learn from Tess how to make a side character a main character (Who expected Bella Li to be a daughter of the cook and one of the Su Wukong?) .Though some mysteries remain unsolved or i would say confusingly entangled, but despite of that I would say that The Silent Girl is a must read. The first book I read of the rizzoli and isles thriller and now I want to read them all!! This great tale of a gruesome homicide is just enough to keep you awake the whole night. I would rate the story 4.5 out of 5. 0.5 mark less because I found that at some point the story got really confusing and a few mysteries remained unsolved.
P.S. I might have found it confusing. If you don't find it confusing then you can rate it full 5 on 5. Honestly, its very good.
What To Learn
For Readers:
there are many but i would just say-
-Be brave like Jane Rizzoli
-Be dedicated like Johnny Tam
-Be fearless like Bella Li
-And be all the above three like Iris Fang
Indigo Field
An indigo field fades into view; the air is you. Legs walk with swaying grass and wade up a slope. A lone wooden home on a plateau, A swing suspended from nightly mist. Legs laze on the swing and look up- what a sight! Shooting stars swim the skies like newborn tadpoles In a rippling pond crossing paths without worry. Everyone here is seen, everything here is known. Overwhelming wonderment; I am lost, I am found As immortal stars dance for their earthly spectators in the indigo field!
Standoff By Sandra Brown- Review
When you read the back cover description you find it really interesting. But as you read through you find to be very amateurish. Rather irritating.
The book has a brilliant start. You really like it. But gradually it turn into a one man- woman story. The extra -genius doctor and an extra- courageous reporter, who, throughout the novel is more concerned about the story she has to feature. There was no fun, no adventure. All the resources walk themselves to her. All she has to do is give them to the doctor so that he can use them properly. A few scenes were quite enthusiastic but then again the story dulled. And then an unnecessary sex scene to keep the reader clinched to the story. The ending was good. A calm happy ending that develops a nice impression of the book. Not more to say about the book except that it was an average novel. I would give it 2 out of 5. A mark extra for the happy ending.
P.S. there must be people who liked the book. I didn't.
What to learn from the book:
For readers-
-Be a hero
For writers-
-Write interesting stuff. A modest request
A Cry In The Night By Mary Higgins Clark - Review
Today only i finished reading A Cry In The Night by Mary Higgins Clark and have to say that it is rather not appreciable for Mary Higgins Clark to write such a book. After Daddy's Little Girl and Stillwatch, this book came as a shock, and honestly, not in a positive way. The story starts of well and the female protagonist seems to be a strong women who is self- dependent. But to my astonishment the way Erich treats her and the way she stays back is so unimpressive. For those who have not read the book, its strange to show a strong woman being so uncannily tortured by a psychotic. Besides the story seems to be dragging a lot in between and to many characters seem to enter (especially that of Emily. I found her character useless except for spreading rumors in the Granite Place). Another thing that was queer was that Jenny believed-instead married- a man whom she had met just about few days ago. Having a few day old crush and actually marrying a person whom you have met a few days ago are two different things (until you are not forced into the marriage) and any sensible person knows the difference between the two. Every single thing had a LOT of description much of which was not required. The real fun began in the end when Erich kidnapped the kids. The story grew interesting only for those few chapters. The random call (which asked Jenny to get down from Caroline's bed), rather created a suspense and horror but was worth a guess that Erich was behind the call. The chapter from the random call to the end was quite good. I would have used the word awesome if the rest of the story wouldn't have been so ....ahem...BAD! The ending was again not so efficient, but then there would-i believe- have not been any other better way to end a story with the involvement of such a large amount of characters. Overall i would rate the book 3 out of 5. I would have actually rated it 1 but the 2 extra points are for the thrill in the end chapters.
Warning for those who are going to read the book :
- Don't read the description at the back. That's enough to spoil all your fun. Just know that Jenny MacPartland is the female protagonist who lives in New York and has two little girls Beth and Tina. She is a divorcee. Her ex-husband is Kevin MacPartland, a struggling actor who owes a lot of money to jenny and hardly supports her in raising the children. That's all you need to know. Now please don't read the back cover description. You'll spoil your fun.
-Also know that there is another main character Erich Kreuger. Nothing more please.
-Read the prologue. It is very integral to enjoy the book later.
-You need a lot of patience while reading the book. So just wait. The fun part is coming.
- If this is your first Mary Higgins Clark book then please read another Mary Higgins Clark book before you read this one so that you don't have a bad impression of her.
P.S. this book doesn't make Mary Higgins Clark bad. She is an awesome writer as far as i have read her books and this book clearly seems like a mistake and don't we all make mistakes.
What we learn from this book-
For readers:
-Don't trust anyone blindly. Blind trust leads to unbearable situations.
-Always make yourself your first priority. Don't blindly dedicate yourself to anyone except God.
-Through every bad time there is a peaceful ending.
-isolation is the worst enemy of man
-Friends are very important.
-Learn to stand-up for yourself.
-Never marry an extra possessive man. Please. It can be terrible. Extremely terrible.
- Have the power to judge who is right and who is wrong.
For writers (what readers expect):
-No nonsense (obviously!)
-To much of complicated descriptions are really not required. This just confuses the readers.
-Avoid abrupt endings to a certain scene
-Write words which the reader can absorb and which makes reading really fun. The reader should be eager and not forced to turn the page (i hope you get it!)
-Before beginning something know if you will be able to end it properly.
That's all. I wish Mary Higgins Clark best for the future.
