I wasn’t asked to a single dance in high school and didn’t have a serious romantic relationship until I was 22. And like, yeah that shit hurt when I was younger. I had a lot of fears that I was unlovable and that I didn’t deserve to be happy. And every time I would try to talk to anyone about it, the conversation became, “you’ll find someone”, when it should have been, “you don’t need a relationship or a date, you’re lovable & complete & beautiful on your own”.

So yeah, please normalize young people not dating, and please stop shaming them for it. There’s more to life than romance, despite what the media wants us to think.

Honestly…

I’ve had such a bad week and it’s just gotten even worse. I have no medication to help me deal anymore, my depression is getting stronger and there’s absolutely nothing I can do about it. My insomnia is back. I haven’t slept since Thursday. The worst part is having fucking no one to talk to, I hate when people are like “oh you can talk to me anytime” then when you do they couldn’t give a fuck.

All I get is “what’s your problem?” Or something of the likes. Hm… what’s my problem? My problem is your inconsideration for other people’s feelings. I’m not acting like this on purpose. That is the joys of mental illness I’m afraid. It affects your feelings and attitude in ways you cannot control. If I could stop trust me I would. No one enjoys feeling this way.

Too bad I’m not dead.
