{text}: the kid.
Kid: I'm thinking of asking Dylan to be my valentine, that cool with you?
Play: You cool with Siobhan choosing up? đ
Play: Stop playing on my phone bruh. You ain't her type anyway. What's up though? I know Mr. Loverboy got something special lined up for v-day.
{text}: siobhan.
Siobhan: None.
Siobhan: I think I'm good. I'm kind of seeing a good one right now. So I think the cornballs will get the hint that I'm not looking for them.
Siobhan: And you? You going solo?
Play: And how's that going đ€ All good right?
Play: Idk yet, probably solo dolo. I can't disappoint any of my pieces and pick just one. That's against the player code.
{text}: siobhan.
Play: Yo, sis. What cornballs am I going to have to tell to chill this v-day?
dylandavenport:
âFine. But youâre not staying long.â Dylan didnât have much softness left for him; rather she actively chose not to, a choice that she found comfort in. Indifference suited her far better than the alternative. He didnât deserve anymore of her emotional labor. âYou shouldâve called before you showed up here. I pray for your motherâs sake that youâre not completely classless.â Between her sharp tongue and cutting looks, she wasnât quite sure heâd find anymore warmth on this side of the door than where he was standing, but she pulled it open anyway before turning on her heel, heading back towards her family room leaving him to find his own way. Taking a seat, she eyed him completely unimpressed as she paused her TV. âWell, whatâd you bring me?â
He liked to think he was letting her go through the motions, and that this was just her teaching him another lesson, which she was entitled to, so he bit his tongue and let her comments slide because it wasnât anything he hadnât seen before. âYou can look through the bag,â he responded coolly, giving her free reign to sort out the items herself. His eyes swept around the familiar room, mostly to busy himself and avoid the heaviness he felt, and landed on the television screen. âYou still like this trash ass show?â He snorted after a beat of silence, recognizing the show heâd been forced to watch a few dozen times. He purposely chose to be directly in front of her, taking a seat on the edge of her coffee table. âYo, push play for me,â he requested, softly hitting her leg.

âI know I need to get my life together when my momâs Snapchat story is more lit than mine.â
âThatâs...thatâs crazy, my dude.â Play chuckled, shaking his head. âMy real concern is that you follow your moms on Snap, though. Does she follow you? âCause thatâs holding back your content.âÂ
[text] I'm single now, G and I broke up.
{TEXT}: Iâm sorry, bro. You good?Â
{TEXT}:Â You better be good.Â
s-hawkins:
âDoes she?â Siobhan asked, wondering if he really couldnât tell why it was that she stayed in her feelings. Because she thought it was pretty obvious to why it was that she was in her feelings. She wanted Play to step up to the plate. âOh it is. Guess how many orders we got? Two hundred.â Siobhan said, excitedly. âTwo hundred orders, Iâm still baffled that we got that many and counting because I still have to check to see what I have to send off tomorrow.â Siobhan couldnât be happier with how her business was doing so far, it was reaching girls all over the states. âYouâre OD straving?â She gasped. âOh no, then itâs serious. We need to hurry up.â Siobhan said as she started to walk faster.
âYouâre just on her side âcause youâre women. I saw Waiting to Exhale.â He rationed stupidly, knowing she had every reason to feel whatever she was feeling. It was harder to tell these days. âDamn, for real? Thatâs lit, S. Some girl was wearing your lipstick at the,â he stopped himself. âIf you need help with shipping tomorrow you can hit me up. I donât need to catch you out here struggling again.â He teased. âHella serious. I get hungry between classes and the studio.â Play laughed lightly at her quickened haste, but sped up anyways, keeping in time with her stride. âWhich reminds me, you wanna talk on an interlude for me?â
It had been a hot minute since he knocked on Dylanâs door. And all he knew was the last time was a lot less stressful than this. Granted they were still a couple then and he was probably there for sex. âI found your sweater.â He said in a monotone, lifting the department store bag heâd gathered everything in as the door opened and his ex came into view --- she looked good, but that was to be expected. Still his expression remained unreadable. âAnd a bunch of other shit thatâs probably yours, you can look through it, but can we do this inside? Itâs cold out here.â He reasoned.

s-hawkins:
âIâm going to give them to you if only to save you from the potiental talking to that youâd get if she saw you.â Siobhan said, but Play was already taking packages off of her hands. If only Play was like this more often, he wouldnât get into trouble nearly as often as he would. âAnd I really hope that by girls, youâre referring to a girl and that girl being my girl, Dylan.â Siobhan let him know, because she really wanted those two to work whatever was going on between them. She loved Dylan and Play together. âTo the post office on campus, so just a little bit that way.â She said as she led the way for him. âAnd donât worry, to thank you, weâre definitely going to get something to eat.â
At the mention of her friend, Play kissed his teeth. âYour girl stay in her feelings. Iâm cool on that one.â Though given the chance to forgo his pride and truly make amends he wouldâve in a heartbeat. If he didnât know it before, their time apart had only reinforced the fact that he wouldnât be finding another girl quite like Dylan. But that didnât mean he wouldnât try...every night. âGot it. This must be Ms. Mogul business then.â He teased, completely proud of the woman before him. âCool. âCause iâm OD starving, and you can fill me in on your week over some fries.âÂ
[text]: My only problem is my missing sweater, sweetie. [text]: And texting you.
{TEXT}:Â Nah, itâs not but you can easily fix the latter. I already told you iâll keep an eye out for your sweater.Â
[text]: I said Tom Ford not FashionNova. It'll be easy to spot.
{TEXT}: Thatâs your problem.Â
jasbouttospazz:
I donât know why itâs difficult to admit that I miss you.
