If not for the fact I have archived cc on my blog, I would have honestly deleted it. The harassment I’ve gotten isn’t worth it. D*keopath is probably the one responsible for the multiple “kill yourself” anons I got a few days ago. as well as other threats. It wouldn’t surprise me since they were suicide baiting another user. I guess I’ll keep this blog up for archives sake and my other blog, for The Sims 2 archives. 

I’ll probably update TS2 one since I’m all-together leaving TS4 community since it’s just really.. hateful? Hateful is as nicely as I could put it. It makes the toxic cesspool known as the League of Legends community (filled with ACTUAL racists, misogynists, and homophobes) look like rainbows and sunshine. I do not wish to be in a community that makes me, a POC creator, feel uncomfortable and unsafe.

Just when I finally get a job, my brain is doing that “hey, you should kill yourself” thing again. I mean, I should, but then others would have to clean up the mess. activision literally made a public statement that they had massive profits, a significant increase in revenue compared to last year, around 40% if i remember correctly… but somehow this still ‘failed to meet expectations’ and they fired around 800 people

MEANWHILE, their newest CFO literally got FIFTEEN MILLION DOLLARS JUST for accepting the position. he didn’t even do anything. around 800 people lost their jobs despite record-breaking profits and some high-ranker gets millions for literally just saying ‘yeah i’ll take the job’

And just as of late, NCSoft laid off a bunch of beloved developers for Guild Wars 2 (while trying to keep two dead games afloat), and a dev of 18+ years of service was let go. Honestly? Fuck this “AAA” companies. The higher ups are complete fucking sell-outs and care only about more micro-transactions and getting paid. Really looking at EA though...
