Also, in case anyone missed them before, I have the Sims 2 Prima eGuides HERE.
I wanted a new lumberjack outfit, but once retexturing I just can't stop... So I ended up with 20 recolors.
The mesh is a 4t2 conversion of @marvinsims SuspenderShirt, a 4t2 conversion of @darte77 HighTopBoots, and the pants of @mdpthatsme JulieJ SP10 JeanSkinny.
I made it for adult males and teen males. Has fatmorph for both and pregmorph for adults only. Compressed, categorized as everyday.
I took a bit of a...well, not a break, but a slowdown this month. Between working on the Traditional Bedroom, sinus problems, and personal life stuff, this is only my second new CC post since that absolute flood around Halloween. I wanted something quick, preferably with the meshes already converted. This collection by @its-adrienpastel has two familiar meshes, autumnal colors...perfect. I'll do more of that collection eventually, because we always need more kid clothes, but for now here's just a little of it.
Looks familiar, right? I've actually converted recolors for @deedee-sims' shirt-only edit of Skittles' 4t2 SP18Blouse before. And I think we all have either @keoni-chan's 4t2 EP11DressRuffle or DeeDee's child version, maybe both. These Adrien Pastel recolors bring moody harvest colors to these charming meshes. Think of this as a Thanksgiving mini set, if you like.
DressRuffle is available for toddlers and kids. Toddler dresses are PF only, with 512x512 dress textures. Kids are CU (unisex, like all of my kids stuff for a while now), both full outfit and top-only for the dresses, with fat morphs. Everything is set as Everyday.
No major mesh edits, but I did smooth out some very minor seams on the dresses. My edits have the same file names as the originals. You probably won't even see a difference. I'm just trying to banish TS4 seams from my own game.

Credits: @its-adrienpastel for TS4 recolors, @keoni-chan for 4t2 EP11DressRuffle mesh, @deedee-sims for CU meshes, skittlessims (retired) for 4t2 SP18Blouse, @julietoon-ts2 for 4t2 boots (child version by DeeDee)...I think that's everyone
I keep saying I'll never fully escape EP11 stuff and it keeps being true! Also, I love how much that last blouse swatch looks like a New Order album cover.
4t2 SP23Pantslace: everyday / outerwear, unisex, has fatmorph, 9 original colors, combined with SP23Workboots (might have adjusted the colors of these).
DOWNLOAD SFS (pants)
4t2 SP23ShirtTwist: everyday, girls-only, has fatmorph, 10 original colors.
Shirt and shorts, from the latest EP. The shorts come with flip flops, but I also added a barefoot version (same mesh, texture of barefoot repo'd to flip flops).
Shirt: unisex, categorized as everyday, gym, PJ's and underwear, has fatmorph, comes in 12 original colors.
Shorts: unisex, flip flop as everyday and gym, barefoot as PJ's and swimwear. Has fatmorph, comes in 12 original colors.
@monilisasims 4t2 Caio Nancy Dress made top-only (requested by @poushina)
More top-only dresses, yay 🥳 For adults and teens, they have the appropriate morphs. They come in the original 45 colors (swatch is stolen). And you can choose if you want the TF files repo'd to the AF files, or not. This is the first time I used the Repository Wizard, so tell me if something's not working 😅
Summer skirts! This was quite a challenge, as it is tattooered (by @paluding) to Trapping's / Cat Of Evil Genius's alpha skirt mesh. I did the shoeswap to these H&M sandals, though.
For teens, adults, and elders, they have the appropriate morphs. They come in the original 30 colors, and you can choose if you want the other ages repo'd to the AF files, or not :)
It's often said that doing something that makes you uncomfortable means you're growing. University takes that uncomfortable period of growth and development and extends it by years and compounds it with social pressure and financial debt. Welcome to the University Challenge!
This challenge seeks to increase engagement, difficulty, and storytelling opportunities for players of The Sims 2. Herein you'll find a set of rules, events, and randomized scenarios to help make the most of your sims’ university experience.

Admissions 📝
In order to attend college, the following Base Admission Conditions must be met:
The college applicant must have $5,000 (scholarships and financial gifts from friends and family can contribute to this amount, otherwise it MUST be taken from household funds)
The college applicant must have a grade of C or higher
The college applicant must have at least five skill points in any area
The college applicant must be no fewer than 6 days from adulthood and no more than 7 days from adulthood
If all of the above base admission conditions are met, then congratulations! Your sim is going to a university like Sim State University.
For an additional challenge, there are gradations for college admissions rules. Those listed above are the base rules of admission, meaning they're the bare minimum requisites for attending college.
For an added admission challenge, here are the Technical School Admissions Conditions:
The applicant must have $10,000 (scholarships and financial gifts from friends and family can contribute to this amount, otherwise it MUST be taken from household funds)
The applicant must have no lower than a B grade
The applicant must have specialization (8 skill points or more) in the mechanical or logic skill
The applicant must be no fewer than 6 days to adulthood and no more than 7 days to adulthood
If all of the above conditions are met, then congratulations! Your sim is going to a Technical University like La Fiesta Tech.
Now, if your sim is an overachiever and wants to attend an upper echelon school, you'll want to follow the Ivy League Admission Conditions:
The college applicant must have $15,000 (scholarships and financial gifts from friends and family can contribute to this amount, otherwise it MUST be taken from household funds)
The college applicant must have an A grade
The college applicant must have specialization (8 skill points or more) in any one specific skill
The college applicant must currently be enrolled at a private school
The college applicant must be no fewer than 6 days from adulthood and no more than 7 days from adulthood
If all the above conditions are met, then congratulations! Your sim is going to an Ivy League university like Academie La Tour.
The three admissions conditions fit neatly with all three premade universities. For the purposes of this challenge, they are as follows:
Sim State University = Base Admissions
La Fiesta Tech = Technical School Admissions
Academie La Tour = Ivy League Admissions
These admissions rules are designed to provide a scaling challenge for those playing households with teens who are hoping to attend college. If you're having a hard time determining which kind of university you want your teen sim to attend, please consult the universities’ brochures:
Sim State University:
Considered the “party school”
Popular with sims with the Popularity, Pleasure, and Romance aspirations
Best for Art, Drama, Literature, and Philosophy majors
Prides itself on being the “economical choice” for higher education
La Fiesta Tech:
Considered the top choice school for STEM
Popular with sims with the Knowledge and Fortune aspirations
Best for Mathematics, Physics, Biology, and Psychology majors
Alumni are known for having sharp minds and good quality careers in science and technology
Academie La Tour:
World renowned university to society’s upper crust
Popular with sims with Popularity, Knowledge, Family, and Fortune aspirations
Best for History, Political Science, Economics, Psychology, and Literature majors
Many alumni are notable leaders in society including politicians, writers, and economists
Choose wisely! And best of luck with your young sims’ college applications.
Freshman Year 🎒
While every school is different, they all have one ironclad rule: every student must live in the dorms for Freshman year.
This is considered the “great equalizer” of university life. No matter the student’s background or personal wealth, they must share space with their fellow students in the dorms for their first year of college. This allows them to mingle with their peers, humble themselves, and eat the same food as everyone else in the dorm cafeterias. Students who choose to live independently for college may only do so beginning in Sophomore year.
Additionally, the first day of school is Orientation Day. All Freshman students are expected to go to the Student Center on their first day to mingle and get acclimated to their new environment.
Syllabus 🧾
To graduate, every student must achieve the following:
General Education completion (at least 4 points in every skill area)
Complete all eight semesters with a GPA of at least 2.5
Once these conditions are met, the sim may use the phone to petition for graduation and move back to the neighborhood of their choosing.
Your objective, naturally, is to ensure your college student satisfies these requirements over the course of their academic career. Now, if it were as simple as Orientation Day, Freshman Year in the dorms, four points in every skill, and maintaining a 2.5 GPA, that wouldn't be too much of a challenge, would it?
At 72 hours a semester over eight total semesters, there are 24 in-game days of university. Surely, you'll need smaller, shorter-term challenges to fill all that time. That's why I've written a curriculum.
Curriculum 🗓️
Below you'll find a list of simple daily prompts and scenarios to flesh out your sims’ university experience. All of them are contextual to the young adult life stage and university life overall. Feel free to choose which ones you'd like at will, or use a dice roller or number generator to randomize your experience. There are 150 in all, so no two university experiences will be exactly alike. Graduation 🎓
Upon successful completion of the final exam and satisfaction of the two graduation prerequisites:
General Education completion (at least 4 points in every skill area)
Complete all eight semesters with a GPA of at least 2.5
Then your sim is ready to graduate!
If you care to, throw them a graduation party. You can even book a vacation to celebrate the occasion and simulate a gap period trip for the sim to gain some life experience before joining the workforce.
Decide during the window between graduation and move out day whether they'll be moving back in with family, living with roommates, or living independently. I trust you to know what's best for your sims, but if you prefer to let the universe decide, here are some lists to help you roll the dice.
How will your sim celebrate graduation?
Party with friends and housemates
Party with friends and family
Party with family
A vacation
No celebration, just move out
How will your sim be living once they leave campus?
Living alone in an apartment or house
Living with roommates in an apartment or house
Moving back in with family members
Living with a partner or partners in an apartment or house
And with those final decisions made, congratulations! You've guided your sim through university and have a new graduate with a bevvy of life experience under their belt. Be sure to update their bio section with any character or storytelling changes that occurred during their time at school.
For a list of honors (and definitely things to add to their character bios for storytelling purposes), see the Honors section.

The Way to their Heart: This sim believes that grilled cheese is the greatest aphrodisiac of all time. Every date they go on MUST have a grilled cheese element. And the go-to after woohoo snack? Also grilled cheese.
Grilled Cheese + Knowledge
The Menu: This sim is obsessed with creating the greatest grilled cheese sandwich of all time. They tirelessly study cooking and enter cooking contests in pursuit of creating the most incredible grilled cheese known to simkind.
Grilled Cheese + Family
Childhood Favorite: This sim has very fond memories of eating grilled cheese sandwiches for lunch and dinner when they were a child, and they'd like to pass that onto their young ones too. Every day, grilled cheese must be served either for lunch, dinner, or both.
Grilled Cheese + Fortune
Always Be Cheesing: When life gives you cheese, grill it. Some people have lemonade stands, this sim has grilled cheese stands. They think a good grilled cheese is the quickest and easiest way to their first million simoleons. They plan on opening a business that only sells grilled cheese.
Grilled Cheese + Popularity
H'ors D'Oeuvre: Somehow, this sim got it in their head that grilled cheese is the peak of fine party food. Any time they have a party, heaps of grilled cheese must be served. Yes, even at weddings and funerals.
Grilled Cheese + Pleasure
Glutton: Plain and simple: this sim likes grilled cheese. They like it so much they don't see the point of eating anything else. For every meal of the day, they will only eat grilled cheese.
1. Commitmentphobe: This sim is terrified of being tied down to any one person. They are not seeking a relationship of any kind, just a good time. Repeat dates are fine, but the minute the "what are we?" question arises, they bolt.
2. Hedonistic Hero: This sim loves having fun and woohooing is a LOT of fun. They're seeking to sleep with as many sims as they possibly can, whenever they can.
3. One Night Only: This sim is only interested in one night stands. Variety is the spice of life!
4. Exhibitionist: This sim REALLY likes to woohoo in public. It's a must have for their every intimate relationship.
5. Risky Woohooer: This sim loves to give love, but hates the feel of protection. Every woohoo is a "try for baby" woohoo.
6. Pickup Artist: This silver tongued sim believes they're only ever a few words away from spending the night with anyone they want. To test this theory, they try to take someone home every time they go out.
7. Hobosexual: Listen, housing is expensive and woohooing is free. This sim ensures they have a comfortable place to live by wooing other sims into relationships. They're not so much into the other person as they are into having a place to crash for a while. But hey, you can't beat woohooing and free rent.
Pleasure + Knowledge
1. Armchair Philosopher: This sim loves to discuss profound topics with others over drinks or a bubble blower.
2. Hobbyist: This sim focuses their brilliance through their special interest. They seek to maximize their hobby knowledge.
3. Gourmand: This sim is fascinated by the science of food and drink. They like to study the art of cooking, watch cooking shows, and most of all indulge in well made meals. They like to go out to eat as much as possible, as often as possible.
4. Groupie: This sim is most fascinated by live music. They seek out opportunities to perform and see live music as much as possible.
5. Platonic: Like the classical thinkers of old, this sim believes that it is not enough to have the biggest brain, they must also have the biggest muscles. They believe peak performance is achieved with a sharp mind and rock hard abs. They are as concerned with having a beautiful mind as they are with having a beautiful body.
6. Occult Aficionado: This sim loves anything odd, spooky, or strange. In fact, they're so wooed by weirdness that they simply can't be fulfilled unless they become something weird, themselves. A typical occult aficionado dreams of giving birth to an alien baby, getting bitten by a werewolf and/or vampire, photosynthesizing through their skin, and/or mastering magic. Y'know. Normal stuff.
7. Tinkerer: This sim may not be the best with people or necessarily the most ambitious, but they've always had a knack for doing things with their hands. They're happiest when they're creating, fixing, or breaking things, be them cars, gadgets, toys, or anything else they can get their hands on.
Pleasure + Family
1. One of the Kids: Always in touch with their inner child, this sim indulges with the youngest members of the family by watching cartoons, playing with toys, eating too much pizza, and generally being a big kid. They have a very hard time setting boundaries and disciplining.
2. Family Finder: This sim doesn't care much about the trappings of traditional families. Instead, their family is comprised of close friends, beloved pets, and maaaybe a blood relative or two. A family can be any collection of folks just getting along together under one roof.
3. The Cool Parent: Loud music, late nights, underage drinking, and mixed gender sleepovers. This sim's family philosophy is to just be cool. They'd never chastise the young people in their life or make them do anything they don't want to. The cool one's household runs on vibes.

6. Best Friend Family Member: Whether they're the cool aunt or the parent who feels more like a best friend, this sim is dedicated to fostering close ties and open, nonjudgmental communication with their family members. Of course, this means boundaries are muddled and sometimes younger members of the family can find themselves without an authority figure or voice of reason, but hey -- at least they have the best friend family member.
7. Free Spirit: No bedtimes, no curfews, no expectations, no rules, no worries. This sim believes that no one can tell anyone which path to walk or how to walk it, so they don't. They're extremely laissez-faire in their style of child rearing which can sometimes result in extremely creative and accomplished young people and other times in directionless or listless ones. One sim's "neglect" is another sim's freedom.
Pleasure + Fortune

4. Materialist: This sim spends all their money on the creature comforts and collectibles that make life enjoyable. Multiple cars, high end PC, flat screen TV, hot tub, pinball machine, helicopter, home gym -- you name it, this sim either has it already or wants to add it to their collection.
5. Miser: This sim's money isn't going anywhere but in their pocket, thank you very much. They derive joy not from spending lavishly, but rather amassing as much money as possible. Some of that wealth can be tied up in assets, sure, but this dragon is happiest with a fat, golden hoard all their own.
6. VIP: Look, this sim really only cares about two things -- making money and having a good time. They don't want to work a boring job and they don't want to try too hard either. For them, the best resolution is to make play their work. They dream of running a hookah bar, sports bar, dance club, concert venue, spa, casino -- any place they want to spend their time, they're sure plenty of people will pay to spend time there too. And then it's like they're getting paid just to hang out.
7. Grifter: This sim knows you don't necessarily have to be the best at something to be successful at it, and thank goodness for that because they don't have the work ethic for all that. They're perfectly content to be a middling musician, artist, WHATEVER, just so long as it makes them a lot of money and isn't too hard.
