I got an ask about magical girls and that made me spiral into my obsession again. Went through my old sketchbook filled with twst x magical stuff and redrew my ace and deuce designs. My obsession is so big right now I came up with a whole AU idea.
Ace and Deuce both still go to nights raven college but magic doesn’t exist expect for magical girls and boys that fight off blot monsters.
Ace and deuce are forced into becoming magical boys when they encounter a blot monster in the woods while looking for their friend Yuu, instead finding their pet cat grim, who turns out to be a yuu’s magical helper. Giving Ace and deuce powers.
Now they have to fight off blot monsters to save the world while also looking for yuu.
The first years are magical boys while the overblot boys are the villains.
The first years have no clue that the overblot boys are the villains and vice versa.
The first years use hands pretty cure style but at the end of a battle they pull out weapons, ace and deuces being croquet mallets.
They still go to an all boys boarding school and the dorms are still the same but it’s not on an island and instead is in the middle of a city.
Thought it would be interesting if the staff were in on it to crewel and trein helping the first years (who were originally Yuu’s mentor) and Crowley “helping” the overblot boys. Sam and Vargas are non magical but Sam secretly knows everyone’s secrets. Vargas is completely clueless though.
Haven’t decided yet but everyone else is probably also a villain expert the first years, kailm and silver
That city was going through it before the first years became magical boys btw the only magical boys it had were yuu, kailm, and silver. (Also rook who secretly went out to fight blot monsters every now and then even though he’s a villain.)
RSA also exists but there in a whole other city.
Also nrc is a normal school it just so happens that its headmaster corrupts students he sees potential in, into magical villains.
