oofuri is very much ongoing. it used to update monthly but magazine updates have been on hiatus since around may 2024. no word yet on when or if the serialized format will return but in the meantime we have the tankobons! the latest volume is vol 38 and it came out june 23 2025. so yea it's slowwwww but oofuri has always been slow tbh we're all used to it and love it anyway

i hop around from site to site since recent dmca takedowns have made it a little tricky reading online (still no official licensed release anywhere outside japan/south korea<3) but here's my current stash!

if the image quality isn't the best on one site i just go look it up elsewhere in my stash and that's why i'm always hopping basically 🐇 chapter 57 is where the anime leaves off if you want to start there but i can't recommend reading from the beginning enough. it's a treat watching higuchi's art style develop and the omakes especially are so charming and will have you looking at some characters completely differently

i hope that helps! please don't let the pacing or anything else discourage you. i kind of noncommittally decided to reread oofuri in 2022 after taking a long break and now look at me. i hit the winter beginnings arc and never looked back. higuchi put crack cocaine in there. only one way to get the full experience... happy reading!

for you and anyone else: normally I would refer you to a manga aggregator website but after bato.to and the rest died badly even the one I usually use has issues/not all the pages get displayed. SO! collected here by me is all of oofuri + yuku tokoro to download ^_^ it's organized into two different ways to read (by chapter or by volume) and two diff file types (folders of individual PNGs, and CBZ files, which are basically just a zip file of images. You can read them using a free program like CDisplayEx). I recommend only picking one folder to download if you're low on storage space.

A few notes: the volumes folders only collect up to the currently released volume (volume 38, ends with chapter 196). I've been lazy with the last couple volumes - some of these are still the magazine versions of the chapters instead of the redone volume versions of the chapters that plus thinking team has so kindly and lovingly put out. Eventually I'll carve out some time to add both mag + tankobon versions in but for now they're just sorted by volume, not necessarily all the volume versions of the chapters. If you want to read up to the most recently released chapter (chapter 206), you'll have to download one of the chapters folders/grab the chapters from either chapter folder.

I've anecdotally seen that there are multiple translations floating around for the early chapters/volumes (presumably multiple teams were scanlating it back in the day, but I'm not sure on the specifics). I've only got what my friend was able to torrent for me + what plus thinking team has been putting out. It's possible that there are things missing or out of order or something -- I haven't been able to thoroughly double check everything yet :( regardless,
