The past of the baby that I love very much
WARNING: There's like a whole of WTF here. Uh I can only say proceed with caution...
It all started when before Mori became the new boss of the Port Mafia and the previous boss was damaging the port Mafia's rep. With it, rose an organization - creation of life - that was plotting against the port mafia. Unaware that the old boss died and had gotten a new boss. However, even when they found out about the new boss, they still proceeded with their plans against the Port Mafia.
They wanted to create a weapon that could destroy Mori himself. Thus, they hired a scientist. The scientist that had been hired was actually damned in the science world because of his desire to create life out of only DNA code. He had an ability to allow him to do that, but it was seen as weird and wrong. The organization that took him in only saw the usefulness of his ability.
Not realizing that stealing DNA from living objects to create new life would mean that the created life would be starting out as stage 1, proceeded to wait until Chuuya and Dazai were busy to steal a piece of their DNA. At this time, they were 16 year olds. Once their DNA and the right size container for a whole human being to develop had been acquired, Kage was born! Or rather, K-649.
Eventually, when Kage was 4 years old, the port Mafia became aware of Kage and when Kage's ability manifested at the age of 5, Mori sent a couple of people to get Kage out of the facility because of the combined DNA of both Chuuya and Dazai and therefore he belonged to the port mafia.
When Chuuya first saw Kage, he wanted NOTHING to do with him. Verlaine, Kouyou, and sometimes Mori had to take care of him. He had his reasons, one of which was 'why should he take care of stolen DNA?'. But, Kage is 5 and doesn't understand what Chuuya thinks, so he just continues to follow the ginger around trying to get his mother's attention.
When Kage was 6, Chuuya stopped neglecting him, realizing that Kage didn't ask to be created just as much as Chuuya didn't ask for Kage to be created - and because he was also experimented on.
However, Dazai was a different story. At first, Dazai thought he got Chuuya pregnant somehow and Chuuya had to give birth. But, that wasn't the case and eventually found out how Kage was born and why he was created. Because Kage was created to be a weapon, that's pretty much what Dazai viewed him as - a weapon. That is until said weapon called him papa and looked absolutely adorable with a Chuuya pissed off on a level only Dazai had so far got Chuuya on.
Then suddenly, the child was Dazai's favorite because anything that made Chuuya pissed off, frustrated, annoyed, or even irritated at the same level as Dazai immediately had Dazai's liking.
