Amilyn couldn’t remember everything that had happened after she had pulled the lever to set the ship into light-speed. It was as if she had had an outer body experience and witnessed her daring heroic act from afar. When the ship had impacted with the Supremacy, everything had gone black. Yet all she could really remember was the…Stars. How beautiful and far away they had seemed. All she had thought was of how she wished she could have shared more of her life with them. The lavender haired woman’s eyes flashed open and she flinched when she heard shouting of someone nearby, the woman backed up and hit a wall, her hands coming up in front of her as she turned them over and looked upon youthful skin that she hadn’t seen in years “What?” she asked, had her death been so much of an impact that it had thrown her into the past? The woman turned her hands over and then brought them up to touch her soft cheeks gingerly. “This is impossible…” she whispered as she touched the youthful yet familiar face. Had she not even managed to save the Resistance afterall? What of Leia? What of all those that she had commanded in her short time as General? Had the First Order won?
With nothing much to do but wait and hope on the planet that Poe thought they would never get off, his thoughts often turned to the very person that got them safely to he planet by sacrificing herself. Amilyn Holdo. They did not get on and Poe, in their brief time together, felt disrespected by her and her lack of communication in regards to plans and everything else quite alarming and frustrating.
He heard shouting of someone nearby but knew by the tone it was just an argument. One of the rebels had probably bumped into someone from the first order again which always led to some kind of verbal confrontation. He had taken part in quite a few himself but never felt any better by it. It just reminded him how trapped they where.
Turning a corner, Poe heard the words of a voice he did not recognise so allowed his curiosity to get the better of him as he wandered closer to the voice. The purple hair was recognisable but the face was not. “Can I help you?” He asked but then he realised something else. The woman hadn’t arrived with the first order or the rebels which meant she would have arrived after which, he hoped, could lead to an escape. “How did you get here?”
