the last thing Noah remembered was flame. flame consuming them ‘til their very last breath. when they awoke from death for the first time, Noah could only feel pain and fear for a paralyzing second. but that crushing weight on their lungs suddenly extinguished as life breathed into them once more. Noah gasped, their hand clutching at their chest.  ❛ kriff -- kriff, i’m-- ❜

alive and breathing and apparently away from the burned jedi temple. noah felt something incredibly strange in the force, but they were too distracted and disoriented to place what that feeling was.

Finishing his shave, Poe was surprised to see himself in the mirror. He looked like he used to. More cuts and bruises than he was used to on his face but with the beard gone, he could finally recognise his own face. Cleaning the last of the foam away, Poe caught the reflection of someone looking in the mirror. “Have I missed a spot?” he asked still concentrating on cleaning his face. “Don’t be shy. You’ve been looking long enough, you can tell me if I’ve missed something. I won't mind.”
