As summer approached it’s end, Ade couldn’t help but begin to feel the weight of her leadership in her sorority and in Edgewood’s government. Nonetheless, she continued to walk across campus with a light smile on her face. Despite the campus being closed, most greek row members had returned to get their respective fraternities and sororities ready for the new pledges. Ade turned her head slightly, noticing someone she knew in her view. Smiling, just a bit more, she walked up to the other. “Hey! Ready for rush?”
Lifting his head up from another useless pamphlet about student housing, Michael was pissed off -- yet another year that he could not move out of his aunt’s place. Given his situation, he could’ve gotten a job, for example, but then his practice time would’ve been cut down and he could not afford that if he wanted to go pro. His annoyance interrupted by a familiar voice, he was met with the unique smile of the one and only, President of the Gammas. Whistling in excitement, Michael grinned. ‘’Finally, took you a while to show up.’’
