Apropos of nothing; hippogriffs/hippogryphs (front half eagle, back half horse) were invented in the 16th century by Ludovico Ariosto (ok I had to look that up but I knew they were Old). Hippo being from the Ancient Greek word for horse and a griffin being a mythical creature with the head of an eagle and body of a lion. Interestingly, a roc is also a mythological creature, from the Middle East - an enormous bird of prey. So a griffroc would be an eagle or lion with the head of a roc? Hipporoc would be more accurate maybe but riffroc is a lot more fun to say so I’ll give them this one

so after sharing my Nai'o sketch i've been more or less practicing with my art whenever i have the free time away from irl stuff (very little)

and there's this art project i wanna try attempting that's always been on my art bucket list👉👈

won't give much away except that it's a Color Wheel Challenge!!!! already made little notes on my Procreate app; everything's already planned out

only thing missing is picking what color to start with . . . . . . .
