//Beep Beep the angst train has returned ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ
Ok so. I came up with a little bit more what if to this. I’m kinda glad I haven’t permanently made this a verse yet because I am still coming up with more shit for it.
Im talking about this one
And I was thinking about instance of, Konan traveling to Konoha and leaving her baby off at Jiraiyas door step, because she thinks that Jiraiya is better fit to raise a child than she is. Especially with his teachings, she feels he can set them on a better path. Considering she is now following Nagato and they both have a skewed image on his teachings. And she leaves without hinting it belongs to her at all. But it really wouldn’t be to hard for him to figure out if the child looks almost exactly like Yahiko.
(and this is where evie came a long and helped make it more fucked up)
Jiraiya then doesn’t see himself fit to take care of the child, who then passes it onto Tsunade, but Tsunade isn’t fit to take care of them either so Shizune ends up doing most of it since they were given to Tsunade. Shizune would be a very great mom btw
But then, imagine Konan coming back to Konoha 10-12 years later looking for them, but when she saw them and Shizune being happy together she couldn’t bring herself to take that away from her child. But Shizune is the type to let the child decide who they would rather be with, but Konan would urge them to stay in konoha, and maybe she would just visit time to time. But that proves difficult considering Konans criminal status, and Jiraiya thinks she is dead anyway.
In the instance in which the child stays, can you imagine just them finding out about Pain and seeing all their violent and inhuman actions that they have done to people. And because the child looks like Yahiko, they think Pain is their father, and are left with this unbearable guilt, thinking that because their father is bad, that they are bad too. Or at some point they want to go on a journey to find out who their parents were.
But in the instance in which the child does come back to Amegakure, they suddenly realize that their mother, and the person who they think is their father, are actually bad people. The child is disgusted with their action, disappointed and hurt that their mother is actually practically a corrupt villain who hurts people to selfishly obtain a goal. The child then runs away, muttering “I hate you” and Konan has to frantically go look for them filled with an overbearing feeling of devastation. A “I should have left them in Konoha” type of feeling.
This can go either two ways now. Either Konan finds them and sends them back to Konoha, or they can get away, find their way back to Konoha and never see their mother of Pain ever again. And years down the line, they hear reports of her death, and has to deal with the fact that he never got to apologize or understand her. They never got a chance to know her well, or why she was the way she was.
