Season starts March 7th. Hey hey hey everyone!! Long time no see.  We here at the Pokeleague are looking to start things up again with a new season now that people are settling down with their adventures in the Galar region. As always, we are looking for more folks to join in on the fun, gym leaders and challengers alike. You can drop us an ask about leadership, or apply for a challenge via the link at the top.

We arent just on tumblr though! If you’d like you can also drop in on our discord server. You can inquire there about challenging or leading, or just hang out. Outside of the League we are just a small community of folks passionate about pokemon and always looking to grow.

LA LYCANROCS vs. SOUTH CENTRAL SAWSBUCKS

Folks its a race to the starting line tonight as our very own Chris and Ashton both hit the road early trying to get their sweepers out the door AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Chris tries to open with a dancing flygon but tangrowth is at the ready to eat up any damage Chris’s physical side has to give. Will this be enough of an opening to bring on fiery justice with volcarona or will chris’s team build for the sun take the edge?

PHILADELPHIA FLYGONS vs. WINDY CITY WHIMSICOTTS

IT’S NECK AND NECK TONIGHT between our very own Austin and poke-league rookie Yash. The Whimsicotts might seem all offense on the surface but they’re ready with some tricks and traps to try and throw off the Flygons’ balancing act. But will it be enough to stop blacephalon from juggling them? Find out if this fireball turns into a snowball below!

DETROIT DUCKLETTS vs. RAGELAKE BRUISERS

WE’RE IN FOR A LONG ONE TONIGHT FOLKS. two long time poke-league veterans go head to head. Jake’s full on setup team faces off against Pat’s immovable wall of a team. Jake finds himself off on an early lead with a lucario ready to pummel anything in its path, but Pat’s team is having none of that, and his toxapex is comfortable and ready to take as long as it takes to take home the gold! With a team with as much passive damage as it has Jake is on the clock now, will he be able to punch a hole or will Pat keep his roots in? FIND OUT BELOW!

TONIGHT LADIES AND GENTLEMEN the name of the game is SWITCHING. Ben and Griffin, two of our most anticipated coaches, tonight are both going all out with pivots at the ready! A surprising war of attrition comes up between two of the most hyper offensive teams in the league! neck and neck, K.O. for K.O., who will reign victorious in this match fought on a lazy susan??

CINCINNATI IRON HEADS vs. CONNECTICUT CONTRARIES

Tonight we’re seeing a face-off between draft league veteran Killy and newcomer Isa! both teams lead with their hardest immovable objects, but a stroke of luck gives Isa the upper hand! With this momentum Isa makes sure to quickly turn the tables against Killy’s breakneck team with a trick room, will he be able to keep the tables turned against the Iron Heads or will Killy find an opening to make his move? CAPE COD CRABHAMMERS vs. ONE MO’ GEN

GOOOOOD EVENING we’re starting off our debut season of the PLRD with a hell of a bought, long time poke league veteran Caitlin and her Cape Cod Crabhammers took on newcomer Victor’s One Mo’ Gen. Opening up strong for Victor, who punches right through Caitlin’s sneaky strats, but can he keep the momentum up? Or will Cait be able to catch him off guard and steel the upper hand???

We look forward to the start of Season 8 soon, with a fresh assortment of skillful monotype specialists!

Season 7 is here!

Hey everyone! Your adventures in the Alola region and Ultra Space are only the beginning of your trials. Once again, the doors to the Poke League have opened wide and we are welcoming trainers from near and far to come and test their skills against our broad assortment of Gym Leaders and Elite Four.

We’re back and ready with a strong set of monotype specialists, so come one and all! All you have to do is check out our discord. Drop in, say hello, and if you wish to challenge us, fill out a challenger form, or you could even hang around if you’d like for the fun of it.

Anyone is free to try their hand at our Poke League and earn the title of Champion, whether you’re a veteran in competitive battling or rather new!
